Quality of Life mod recommendations?Discussion

Does anyone have recommendations for little quality of life mods to use in otherwise vanilla gameplay? My friends and I play vanilla on occasion, and I've been looking for some simple non-cheaty QoL mods to make my controls/display a little more friendly. So far I've got ToggleMute and LetMeLookDown. I know there's something that gives you a mic volume indicator but I don't remember what it was, and I know there's some other HUD-related stuff, but can't remember what's client-side and what's not.

I see all the icons on my HUD but I rarely know what any of them mean. Some are too detailed to even identify/understand at a quick glance as well (I’m a pretty casual player)

I’ve only used 50+ in a short timeframe during Go Fests and Go Tours. Like during the Sinnoh Tour earlier this year I did 84 raids across the weekend, and last year’s Go Fest I did something close to 60 Rayquaza raids in the second day alone. But that’s when I’m expressly hunting something, usually at most I’ll use 1 or 2 premium passes in a single day, if any

Edit: I’ve got a pretty active local group with decent players so it’s easy to go out and raid hunt for hours on end during special events

I hate it, it’s almost impossible to lose it outside which makes it so hard trying to ferry scrap back to the ship

If you’re looking more to just put pre-existing images/shapes together, Canva is pretty good (do note that downloading with a transparent background is a paid feature, so if you need that and want free, I unfortunately haven’t found an alternative yet)

My friend is the large axel because they call themself that. I have no idea why, but they do, and it’s a running joke in our group. Someone finds a large axel and says “I’ve found Breezy!” even if they’re not playing

First playthrough: Ruta, Naboris, Medoh, Rudania Second playthrough: Medoh, Naboris, Rudania, Ruta

I tried doing Rudania first on my first playthrough but couldn’t figure out how to tackle the heat. On my second playthrough I wanted Revali’s Gale pronto, did the Naboris questline because I wanted the Gerudo Vai gear asap, rushed Rudania with blue chuchu jellies until I got to the town to buy armor, and then Ruta was all that was left

A quick google search says that chocolate is toxic to real world reptiles, but I’d guess that dragon bodies and digestive systems would be a lot more hardy than a regular little lizard, so imo they might be able to. Assuming the chocolate doesn’t melt before Peril can eat it

You’re fourth in line for the pre-order! You’ll be in the next nest, unless they wegg us

It was 19.something kilometers, it wasn’t over. It’s just close enough to 20km that us in the area are calling it that

In my area one of my friends made a 20km (because he could), and it instantly disappeared from the map. How can anyone ever do it if it’s never given a chance??

Well now you need that model >:)

It’s also not healthy to be spreading hate for the sake of spreading hate. You’d be a lot happier if you ignored things that annoyed you

Joining in on the fun, not everyone can be pro S++ rank or whatever, everyone starts somewhere 🤷

As a viewer I don’t think I really have a preference one way or the other, but as a streamer I like to make mine custom. Mine’s “pspspsps you want to join this stream, it’s (descriptor) time”, where (descriptor) indicates what type of game I’m playing. Like “block game” would be Minecraft, “sneaky stealy” is Thief Simulator, “shooty game” is Fortnite, etc etc. idk if anyone notices them but I think it’s cute

Huh, neat, I gotta go check that out, thanks 👀

Okay I gotta ask. How do you make/find these?

I’d say Abzu. That game didn’t have a single piece of dialogue or written text and it only took something like 5 hours to finish it, but all the little details in the world hinted at such a significant story and once I put all the pieces together (or at least how I interpreted it), it made me cry. Such a beautiful game
