Don’t waste your time on them, it is not worth it.

As for your question, the public transport around Geneva has gotten better over the last years thanks to the construction of the Leman express, but it’s not perfect yet. Pays de Gex (Ferney, St Genis, Gex, Thoiry, etc.) have busses that will take you to Geneva, but they are not as frequent as the main lines, and the ride can be pretty long, especially for towns further from the border, like Thoiry or Gex. Traffic is also a pain at the border and as far ad I know, there is no parking for commuters before the border, although there is one at CERN.

It might be worse checking the area around Annemasse. The city in itself isn’t amazing, but the area around is pretty nice, probably cheaper than Pays de Gex, more lively, but probably less international. It’s not as well located as Ferney if you work at Nations, but with the train, it shouldn’t take you more than 30 min. to get to Cornavin

And it’s not even the most disturbing scene in the movie

True, but it is posted here. I wasn’t a fan at first, but it is growing on me. Say what you will, but it’s unique.

One of the star of the show, Mr. Antony Starr. Isn’t it funny that your name is also Starr?

Fucking hilarious.

So what’s the best part about playing Homelander?

Not having to do any fucking scene with you.

Yeah, oh… we are friends in real life, he’s just euh-

  1. You should be able to get a mcmuffin, at lesst according to their website: https://www.mcdonalds.com/ch/fr-ch/menu/breakfast.html

  2. Bagelstein makes a scrambled eggs and turkey bacon bagel that is pretty good. Sapori at Cornavin also has a good selection of sandwiches, piadines, and pastries.

Try applying for a bar that has a large number of expats customers, like the Pickwick, the Charly O’neal, the Grand Duke or the Mulligans. They might be fine with you not speaking french if you have experience working in a bar, or give you a shot as a barback.

"LOT of refugees" is a very subjective take. While the numbers of refugees has significantly increased for over a decade, according to the European Commission, there are 27.3 millions non-EU residents in Europe, or 6% of the total population. This doesn’t account for illegal migrants, but it does include migrants from all over the world, not just Africa and the Middle East, and refugees, including from Ukraine (roughly 4 millions people).

"The small body of water" is the Mediterranean and is the deadliest border in the world. According to IOM’s Missing Migrants project, half of all migrants who have disappeared worldwide since 2014 have done so crossing the Mediterranean. There is no easy port of entry into Europe, especially from Africa.

Il n’est plus au Parti Socialiste, et le PS a annoncé qu’il ne soutiendrait pas sa candidature. Un simple coup d’oeil sur l’article t’aurait permis de savoir ça.

It will not. It’s a very sex positive and friendly bar, regardless of your sexuality. Just behave as you would in any bar and you will not get a second look. Language-wise, Geneva is very international. You can get by with English, especially if it’s just to order a drink.

That’s definitely not acceptable in France.

Speeding on a country road is a lot more dangerous than to speed on a highway where you have more lanes, barriers and are way less at risk of a head-on collision, or running over cyclists, pedestrians, wildlife, potholes, etc.

And going 114 on a 80 road is akin to going 200km/h on a highway, which nobody does. Some people do speed, but rarely by more than 10-15% of the authorised speed. Fuck that guy.

Gva is the airport code for Geneva
