2011 with 203,833 miles. Original coils and going to swap to 3rd set of plugs. Crossing fingers to make it to 300,000

I came from a kettle! Loved it and miss it. It’s the same theory on the Kamado but just be more patient because you don’t want to pass the temp.

I got more than comfortable on the kettle before i bought the fan. I mostly use the fan for over night cooks or if i am going to be out of the house for hours. I still use the Kamado with only vent settings.

Can I print flash cards or double side to cut out cards?

I caused a leak changing out the shower drain putty. Once you figure out if it stopped or you fixed it. Once dry….. google how to use bleach to remove the stain.

If i recall, i used a 1 part bleach and 3 part water. Put in a spray bottle and lightly spray the stain. Worked awesome. Saved times and money. You can even do a 1:2 ratio water to bleach.

You gave me hope! I have a 2011 5.0. About to hit 200,000.

Yup, it’s a joke! I got the joke with my truck! Carmax offered higher!

Just did this a month ago! Take your time.

So you might be having those issues of a big recall, like someone said above. My 2011 had that kick at lower speed. Ford said nothing is wrong and never fixed it. Ford extended that recall also. Fast forward to last year. My truck started to act up with loss of throttle response and gauges zeroing out. Ended up being that recap transmission computer. Great part about this story…. I was outside of the recall extended miles. 2k recall repair out of my pocket!

2011 5.0 at 192,000 miles with no issues! It’s a great motor!

Looking at a very similar 2022 xlt with a 5.0. Dealer is selling for “discounted” 51k. Also 20” rims. That’s just the prices currently.

I don’t have experience so bare with me. Point me in the direction please. My laptop also became a brick. Have to restart multiple times to get into different day long screens! I get no where in a very long time!

My lap top was windows 10 till the wife updated to free windows 11. I would like to go back to 10!

Seems like it’s got burn marks on the side, under the Kamado.

Thanks. I think i found it and already emailed the person.

I make a bowl with aluminum foil, most of the times if i don’t have a pan. Works great!

After allot of time waiting and calling back, they reached an answer. They used my estimates to decide. They took the cheapest estimate i got a year ago and offered to pay 50/50 and i had to get it done at the dealer. The cheapest price wasn’t the dealer. I told them that was a insult. 50/50 of the cheapest estimate sounds better to them than saying 70/30 at the dealer. The dealer was the most expensive price. If i go there tomorrow, the price will be higher.

If they are only covering 50/50 of the cheapest non dealer price, why am i going to the dealer anyways?

Does someone know who is doing a class action lawsuit or any suggestions?

I built mine by googling, using social media, visiting peoples houses, and experience having one while growing up. Here are some points to think about.

I wanted a over size fridge but couldn’t fit one. I looked at multiple small fridges and came up with an opening that would fit multiple “close enough” same cubic sized. Easy swap out when they break.

Need a full size sink. Very important to be able to wash all dishes and big dishes. Saves you from going inside and out of the house. That’s annoying and a pain. Also you can keep your guests happy when they are there. I made a drain field behind the sink for waste water. I couldn’t tie mine into the house septic. I couldn’t tie in hot water but i left the hot water tap ready to add a tiny tankless for the future. But honestly it’s not needed.

Make a wide open space in the cooking area if your making an U shape. Everyone wants to hang out by the grill but not cook. Everyone wants to see what your doing, talk to you, tell you how to do it and do it better, and/or they just need that space to talk to the other guests across.

Plenty of counter space. You need prep space and space to put things down.

Storage space to put things in bins. South Florida everything gets moist and dirty. Drawers might have been great but i decided against it. Maybe you will have better luck.

Since i had a gas stove and griddle, i ran 1 gas line to both for a 20 pound propane tank. That tank was put under my sink. Easy change out. I put a regulator that feed both units at the same time.

Since i did a U shape kitchen, I put an egg on the corner. Corners don’t get used well (wasted space most of the times). I wouldn’t change that but i would change my opening if i can. It’s perfect now but i would like more comfort.

You need plenty of light. No struggle needed trying to set up lamps while cooking. Look into bright light setups that are installed.

I have seen 2 people burn pasta in water! I became a believer that day that the impossible is possible!
