I signed a lease for an apartment at a certain price. Before moving in they said they could do the price we locked in or add $60 a month to the rent and receive a lifestyle package. The lifestyle package is a $1,000 gift card to our local mall. It’s been 3 months and i have not received it or any information despite paying the higher rent. i have called multiple times and they were out of office. i went in person multiple times but they were doing showings. Are they scamming me and what do I do?

I work on tips so I was unable to provide pay stubs that were accurate to my income. I typed up a paper with all the tip income I made and had my boss sign it and put their contact info. That worked for me! Not the same but I do feel like there’s some leeway with what they ask because they want to people in and paying rent.
I loved her from day 1. What she went through in real time helped me with similar issues. I’ve been shamed a lot for drinking but she made it out and I want to, too. My drinking was also from exes. You drink because your hurt and we only saw Katie lashing out (because she was always honest and in it) we never saw Tom because bravo favors men (and he doesn’t know how to talk honestly or about emotions). I’m sure Tom could have been called Tequila Tom if they let us see it. She was an easy target and it was not justified.

Too be fair, I have a horrible red dye allergy but we didn’t figure it out till suffering through reactions. I can’t tolerate the hives so red dye wasn’t worth eating something red.
