I'm a beginner in drifting, but my advices are:

Use some car with long wheelbase, because the car is stable. I use Gavril Grand Marshall.

Put lighter flywheel in car, because it improves throttle response.

Don't use drift tires. Personally, I prefer normal tires over any other type.

And second one, I would change space frame to monocoque. It can be lighter and you can use carbon fiber for example.

It's very nice for the first car! Personally, I would use stiffer valve springs and higher cam profile, because it loses power near the redline a little bit :)

I'm not sure, but doesn't BeamNG drive have L/R trim in settings? I think it's in the game's controls settings, or in the tuning section of the car where you change tire pressure, gear ratio etc.

I use it to simulate crashes that I saw in news or saw IRL. You can find out what happened there and whose fault it was.

For example, my brother's girlfriend was driving behind my brother and they switched their cars because my brother's car was safer than her's. My brother suddenly had to slow down and she crashed into him and she totally broke his beloved car (he repaired it then). I remade the accident and found out two things:

1. She totally didn't brake.
2. They (or at least her) were driving over the speed limit.

It's irrelevant, but I made a wagon like Skoda Superb with V8. The engine I made is like it has been made of two EA211. Bore, stroke, materials, compression ratio etc. Everything is like in EA211, so it's displacement is 3.0
