One year ago today, Charles III became the king of the United Kingdom. But who cares about that?

Today, we celebrate Tank's birthday, a far more important occasion. He's my favorite villager ever. Back when I played New Leaf for the first time in 2022, Tank was one of my starters and he quickly became my favorite. He's so silly, but he's a loyal friend with a heart of gold!

And while he may not look like it, he loves tabletop games and drawing cartoons!

He's still on my New Leaf town of Baletown, and some weeks back, I was lucky enough to find him with Nook Tickets and invited him to my island of Echoland. I also ended up with Hornsby and Spike, two other rhinos who I ended up loving. Looks like I ended up developing a soft spot for rhinos thanks to Animal Crossing, hehe.

He's not many people's favorite villager, in fact, he often ranks very low in tier lists. But Tank is special to me, and I'm sure he's special to some other people here as well.

So that's why, Tank fans of Reddit, I summon you, wherever you are, to celebrate Tank's special day!

Some months back, I made a post where I listed all of the pieces of gear that still hadn't returned to Splatoon 3. I promised I would keep it updated as the seasons would go by, but I was too lazy to do it. Sorry!

But anyways, Side Order and Fresh Season 2024 brought back Inkopolis Square and they brought back many favorites from the previous games, and it's really baffling that it took them so long. But better late than never, right?

Now here's the updated list of gear that still hasn't come back to the game. Note that many of these are promotional items, so they're unlikely to return. Except for the Tentacles Helmet, which is still mysteriously missing...
