Venli is one of the most toxic characters I've ever read about. She's not inherently evil, but she is so selfish and blinded by her own ambition that she might as well be. I've had more than enough encounters with people like that irl so seeing one in a book makes my blood boil at times

Yeah, I got it directly from Dragonsteel. Got the three other projects with their boxes as well, but I live in Europe and the shipping costs are killing me

Thanks haha Didn't manage to get the Stick holder in frame unfortunately

Corwin's kind of an ass though. At least for a good chunk of the series

Because cars here are first of all a status symbol, then a symbol of masculinity and after all that they become an actual transit vehicle

That's why I said that I have a problem with the fact that there isn't a planned convention in Europe for the release of this book, not that he "has" to visit another continent twice per year. But imo it's a bit disheartening that an author that has a considerable number of fans in Europe as well has had his last big tour all the way back in 2016 (according to my 2 minute Google search). That's 8 years ago. Again, I completely understand how expensive it must be for him and his team to do so, but I had some hope that they would have planned something for non-US fans for the milestone that WaT is.

Seeing this comment was the last thing I expected when I wope up this morning

Not really related to the exact problems you're discussing right now, but I'm honestly very disappointed that there won't be a Convention for the book release in Europe. Plane ticket prices from my hometown to Utah are 2k euros for me and my partner and that's NOT including the badges themselves, accommodation, food, etc. Which virtually makes it completely impossible to participate in the release of my most anticipated book by my favourite author.

I don't want to sound disgraceful, I fully acknowledge how stressed out both Dragonsteel and Brandon are, but the US (and by extension North America) sees Brandon ~2 times a year, while he last came to Europe around 6 years ago (I may be mistaken on that, but it was definitely before Covid).

Yeah, but Plate is magical after all

Kaladin's g-force shenanigans have always been without his Plate though, I'm curious if that will neglect most of the pressure on him (or any other Windrunner for that matter)

Thank you, fellow Truthwatcher. I still haven't read the Cytoverse so I didn't know Defiant was a similar case.

Wind and Truth book bundleNo Spoilers

Just saw the Dragonsteel con ticket prices and on the VIP one there the Wind and Truth book bundle is included (hardcover, chull plushie, Szeth pin and a bookmark). As I am not from the US there's absolutely no way I'll manage to attend and had already pre-ordered the book from Amazon. However, I have to wonder if the book bundle will be available on the Dragonsteel website afterwards - because if so, it'll obviously be more worth to buy the whole bundle, than just the book.

So, does anyone have information if the bundle will be on Dragonsteel or if that's specifically for the Convention VIP ticket?

I was spoiled about [RoW] by someone on this subreddit who didn't tag his comment. It sucked tbh

Yeah, I feel like Radiants (and maybe Elantrians idk) are the most destructive force in the cosmere, so Odium's words make sense.
