Its surprisingly affordable and relatively safe. I have ridden on scooters standing with my crutches as well as my wheelchair so I have a healthy fear of falling, so I tend ride pretty safely. Plus I live in a VERY bike friendly town that has bike paths everywhere.

I was initially worried about turning when I first got it, but after using it for a few weeks, my fears subsided. My chair has suspension in it, so I am assuming that helps with a smoother ride.

I just took this to an adaptive sports camps for kids ( I am a coach at this camp) and I had a few people try it out and they had little to no problems. One user felt that putting their front casters up made them "feel" unsafe. The others that tried it connected the straps, did a wheelie to get in and were off an running!.

I initially wanted an addon attachment that "clips" to the front of the chair, but those things are like 2500 dollars. This seemed to work just fine and had a nice battery range. This specific scooter has a motor in each wheel which helps with climbing any hills.

Ahh I was thinking about that, but I use my wheelchair at work so I needed a way to adapt my chair to the scooter, and then be able to get off of it once I got to work. The bicycyle tricycle is nice, but then I would still need my chair.

I went to school here from '94-'99 and have worked on campus from '06 until now. The campus is very accessible. There are areas of uneven pavement, but for the most part it's very good. Most classrooms will have a table or accessible space available. If you speak up, you will likely get your needs met.

Where the Berkeley campus is rated probably a 3 on the accessibility scale I would put Davis at a 9. The wide bike paths and lanes around town make for safe and easy hand cycle routes.

Haley Reinhart and its not even close. Her vocal range and ability far surpasses Abi at the same point in their respective Idol careers. Just go look what she has gone on to do. There is also a very sensual/far beyond her years/experienced vibe that Haley always brings. Abi seems like a deer in headlights at times.

Now marketability wise, I think Abi could break into mainstream if she just starts to focus on making music and matching it with the current market trends. I feel the reason her first audition resonated with so many people was that Billie Eilish is very current and very successful and she was able to take that song and add an extra layer to an already very layered current pop/alternative song. She needs to find that lane quick. I just am not sure that will happen. Its hard for winners to go on/ make good management decisions on Idol. They are locked into their contracts for some time and this often hinders them from taking advantage of the Idol magic soon after the finale of the season.

Buying a used scooter means buying used scooter batteries. Look into what it would take to replace the batteries because you will have no idea how much this scooter was used. Take into account a new set of batteries and then the price of the used scooter and ask yourself, "Should I just buy a new scooter with a fresh set of batteries?". Some scooters have an app that will tell them the battery quality ( not just charge, but quality as well).

Check for wear on the wheels. Look at what a new version of the wheel should look like and bring that as a measure. If they look bald with no tread, then its VERY used and would most likely need a tire replacement sometime soon.

Test the brakes.

Lateral move in many organizations does not equate to "increase in pay". In fact the opposite could occur. If you were to move from sys adm 2 to programmer 2 (different types of jobs but in same pay classification). They won't want to raise your pay because its a lateral move. Just make sure " increase in pay/compensation" is VERY clearly requested on your end.

Also the security issues that happen with storing all these emails is a huge liability/nightmarefor the university

I find the videos from the Beast Philanthropy channel a bit more palatable to watch. The main videos he produces may not fit my demographic, however anything that he is doing to help keep him going and fund the philanthropic side of things is a positive in my book.

Just take things one day at a time. Sometimes doing something small can change your entire outlook on life.

Here is what I have done just recently.

I was interested in taking an improv class. I looked it up and found out there were some places that provided this in my area. I signed up for a 1 time drop in class and had fun. That led to me doing an entire 8 week class with a final show at the end.

I pushed myself outside of my boundaries and had a great time. This isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea, but it does represent something that I thought about and then took action on.

I am a self professed nerd. One of my fav hobbies is playing board games. I find that getting together with friends to play games helps with my sanity. Not only are we playing games, but we chat about life and shit and it helps me realize that they are going through similar ups and downs in their lives...

Sometimes we find ourselves in a rut. This is totally normal.

Try and find something different and do it. It can cost money, or it doesn't have to. It can represent a larger change in your life, or it can be a small change, there are no wrong answers, the change is the key..

Think about short term or long term goals.. find things to do that might work towards those goals. These goals can be financial or they can be personal...

Just knowing that you are doing something to make a change in a different direction should give you some satisfaction that things will be changing in your life and that you yourself are in control of these changes.

I was accepted into Davis a LOOONG time ago and this happened to me. I didnt pass my high school chemistry. I had to go to a local university and take Chem and pass it to make sure I got into Davis

Call davis admissions and talk with a counselor. You might just be able to take a Chem class during summer at a college during the summer.
