We are required to clock out for lunch which is fine but if we forget they want to take additional time out of our check as punishment. This is obviously time we were actually working. This seems illegal. Is it? In the state of GA
* I do this to all my guitars. I have a grinding wheel setup and altogether it's actually quicker and better looking than a normal fret job. Only con is if you hold the neck up to your face and look down it, they are never going to be completely lined up. I hear others mention this as a deal killer but personally I don't spend much time holding my guitars up to my face to look down the neck lol.
Fusion 360 hobby license for CAD/CAM
Looks like how someone would decorate their place immediately after starting a python tutorial.
I know of one for sure. My Sienci Labs longmill cnc router uses a grbl controller. It has a whole arduino uno on the control board. Many hobby grade cnc machines use grbl but most just use the chip instead of the whole board.
2 main reasons I can think of.
1- it's associated with cheap guitars from back in the day.
2- Nickel fretwire is quick to develop little indentations on the zero fret that go ping when you bend. Not much of a problem now that stainless wire is common.
First create a plane along path using that contour line as the path and drag the plane to the very end of the path.
Next create a sketch on that plane and draw a triangle. This will be the shape of your bevel.
Now use sweep using the triangle as the profile and the contour you used to make a plane as the path.
Based on my dislikes I think you're right
I don't get why people are so against paying for YouTube premium. I've had it for years, and I think it's a great value. I don't mind paying for the content I consume.
Tbh it doesn't matter. The extent of windows experience at school will be opening a web browser or Microsoft office which will be very much the same as on Ubuntu or mint.
You'll use less math with cnc The cad program does all the math for you.
I personally use minwax tung oil finish over roasted maple and basically anything else that needs a finish. I do very thin coats almost like I'm trying to rub it all off. Great close to the wood kind of feel.
My condolences. Sorry you had that experience with freezer fries.
In my experience I have never needed a 2nd string tree either except for when I use heavier strings like in op's situation.
My 2 cents on the wood thing. There's no such thing as tonewood, its all just wood. Go down to your local hardwood dealer and you'll find all sorts of wood normally used in guitar building for much less money than buying "tonewood" blanks. Lower cost woods for bodies will be poplar, basswood, and alder. Hard maple is by far the best bang for the buck for a neck. The only problem with buying wood this way is that you need to be able to process the wood yourself. So if you don't have access to at least a planer then this might be difficult.
I paced my first race last month and it really was as simple as emailing the race director. Just said I was interested then boom got free admission and a new singlet. I emailed other race directors doing much bigger races and they were just as open but there were more requirements like you had to be a member of a certain track club and provide race results going at least 15 min faster than your pace group.
Thanks for the reply. I've also been reading that the alphafly is better for longer distance but I can't decide if a half is "longer" or not. To me, a half is alot more like a 10k than a full marathon so idk. I think I'm leaning towards the vaporflys right now.
