This is version 3.0 of the Funko Alerting Service master thread. You can find the first version here and the second version here.
TL;DR I have code running on a server that scrapes popular retail websites and sends out alerts when exclusive items go in stock or restock. You can sign up for automated alerts to et push notifications sent directly to your phone.
There are two ways to get alerts. The first is via Discord. The second is via Twitter. Instructions for both are detailed below.
And, of course, posts will always be made to reddit as well.
Getting alerts is as simple as joining us on Discord! Simply click this link to join the server, agree to the server rules, and you're all set! Be sure to have notifications enabled for Discord on your phone.
Once you do so, head over to the role selection channel and tap the emojis at the bottom of the message that correspond to the product brands you want alerts for. Once you do so, you'll start getting tagged when those products become available AND you'll get access to brand-specific chat rooms.
If you are getting too many notifications, feel free to mute some of the channels. Muting the chat channels is probably the best idea. Then just keep notifications turned on for the channels you want to follow, like the Funko-News channel, or anything in the Alerts section.

How to get Notified
- Open the Twitter App
- Go to any of the above accounts and click follow
- Tap the Bell icon next to the "follow" button towards the top right
- Tap your profile picture in the top left on the main page
- Select Settings and privacy
- Select Notifications
- Select Tweets
- Flip the switch to turn on the Tweets option (if it is not already on)
