Clearly the owner died the same day they took the photos… although location is good, the price is still OUTRAGEOUS for the condition of the home.
Actually bought a hoarder house. Saved a ton buying “as is”. Contents were included. Inspectors were able to do their work before the purchase. Six months of dirty, dirty work by my wife and I. The only pros we needed were the mold guys and a steam clean. The value tripled and we found over 15k of valuables as we dug through the mess. Not for everyone, but for the right buyer, this could be a winner.
I wonder if you could hire an estate sale service for something like this or would they tell you it needs to be gone through first?
The only option for us in this smallish town was an auction house/pawnshop whose owner had a well deserved reputation for being less than honest. It turned into a bit of a treasure hunt, a smelly one, but a treasure hunt nonetheless. One might have better luck in a city with bonded employees.
What I was thinking, notices an aid on the toilet so I bet the owner died and had no family. Or far away and just F it get rid of it all we just want the money. Who knows what could be buried in that mess that could be worth something. But after I dealt with my mom and her hoard, I get nobody wants to drive across the country to deal with a mess like that.
Pool looks clean. Very odd.
Paid pool service on a schedule.
😂…great call
That is the exact same thought that I had! Hoarder-level house, sparkling clean pool.
They had priorities 😆
This is in the more expensive area of town. I bet this will sell fairly quickly, even though it's a hoarder home. Looks like the floors, walls, ceilings, and the rest of the infrastructure are in good condition, and it's in a great location.
My old boss had a family member's hoarder home up in northern Tucson/Catalina Foothills after she passed, they couldn't even get the smell out and it sold rather quickly.
Yikes.. thats pretty bad...
It's also been listed for 17 days.. I dont see why they wont just clean it out and retake the pictures. I doubt its going to sell if its still full of all this stuff.. Who knows whats hidden behind the stuff... could be a ton of mold for all everyone knows.
Our maybe pirate treasure!
Or the dead former owner.
10 hours after it was posted by OP the zillow link is listed as off-market and there is only the street view of desert wilderness.
Pictures are still up at Remax. The place looks fairly clean though cluttered. I'd be more concerned with the outside condition and whether it was maintained.
That link shows nothing too...what is the deal with this house everyone is pulling the listing?
The listings come from a local MLS. They probably pulled the listing at the MLS level and the Remax site refreshed later than the other sites.
I dont see why they wont just clean it out and retake the pictures.
The price includes all the junk inside.
Would absolutely buy it and schedule two roll off dumpsters for the driveway on closing day.
It’s very cluttered and disorganized but not filthy. I doubt these people kept up on maintenance. Looks like it could be a nice home with some work. Inviting pool and tons of carport room.
This has been on here before…or at least a close Reddit community. I recall a comment about the toilet/toilet brush.
Looks like listing is down.
Kinda sad I was able to immediately tell this was in AZ lol.
Clearly you know nothing about staging
There is a reason why the web site (don’t know if it is still actively) Ugly House Photos originated in Arizona.
In my area, people buy homes for the land they sit upon. They raze the existing home and rebuild from the ground up. That place should be burned down, then rebuilt on the ashes!
♡♡♡
This is currently off the market as of today, May 17
Well honestly? Probate Court...
Looks like an old person probably lived there and died. Now the estate has to offload it
Drive by this place every morning to get to work.
Nice photo of the clean bathroom thrown in there.

act fast. this once in a lifetime hoarder's paradise will sell quickly
Not the worst hoarder house I've seen. Seems very cluttered, disorganized, but the house is a good size, and the pool looks well kept. Also sits on 2 acres, has a decent view. I see potential.
The price is too high. If they knock off 70k for the state of it. It may be salvageable. Its a cool house
Guessing the bank wants their money but don’t want to pay for the cleanup crew.
