These are small bottles, I have never seen such a format.
The Glenfiddich 12yo is the most sold single malt scotch in the world. Not really my taste, I find it a bit boring, but it is good to know what the average consumer is looking for.
Really well balanced, slightly woody, smooth.
We have these sizes in Canada sometimes, often around the holidays.
They’re very common in the UK, you can often buy bottles in 350ml, 200ml and even 50ml ‘miniatures’
Just open them and find out :) I say: Each whisky will find its drinkers.
I’d be cracking that Benromach asap
Both lovely whiskies imo, to be drabk though (or cherished as memories, but not investments). I also inherited a bunch of not-worth-much but quite nice whiskies which i like because I can drink without worrying about loosing out in some investment and to the memory of the bequeather.
These are not worth keeping closed. Open them up see if you like them. Neither are bad whiskies. Glenfiddich produces huge volumes of whisky whereas Benromach is much smaller. Both are entry level to the regular core range. Benromach 10 has a hint of smoke.
Thanks guys, only one way to find out!
Looks like a mini version of the one I have sealed. I can't remember how you tell the year it was bottled but mine was the 1980s. I need to relearn these things
These were meant to be consumed, very nice~
Why the bottom of the bottle is so important to be in the picture? What information is there?
Don’t know. That’s why I put it up; as much info as possible
If my grandfather was to be believed, there is good whiskey and better whiskey. You be the judge!
Old bottling young age statement drinkers. They aren’t really worth anything so have modest expectations for the whisky inside
Perfectly reasonable single malt scotch whiskies. They’re both pretty approachable. Give them a try and let us know what you think!
