Man rapes 4-year-old disabled girl in a field after kidnapping her from a temple, was out on bail after sexually assaulting a 5-year-old

Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh: A 4-year-old disabled girl was brutally raped by one Sameer, son of Sajid. The man raped the child in a cane field, left her in the field and fled. The girl had gone to consume offerings at the temple community feast when the incident took place on the evening of May 12th. She is handicapped and cannot speak. The accused had come out of jail just three months ago on bail. An FIR or First Information Report has been launched against the perpetrator after the heinous crime.

On May 12th a community feast was organised at a local temple and residents of the village had gathered there and the child was also present. Sameer abducted her from the religious place, took her to a nearby cane field and began raping her. She became unconsious. He then fled believing her to be dead.

When the family members couldn’t find their daughter, they started looking for her and discovered her in the field in a critical state. She was immediately taken to a hospital. Multiple senior police officials arrived in the village because the mattered concerned a potential Hindu-Muslim brewity. The accused was grabbed within a short time and he confessed to the crime. He was arrested the next day and sent to jail. Sameer has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act along with sections 363 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The girl continues to recieve treatment and counselling.

The girl’s father was mixed up in distributing food to the temple priests at the time of kidnapping. While some people tried to stop Sameer when he was taking her but he claimed that she was asleep and he would take her home to put her to bed. Unfortunately they succummed to his lies.

The Saharanpur police discovered that a previous case of child molestation had already been filed against him when they looked into his past. On 15th December 2021, he sexually assaulted a 5-year-old child in his own village. He lured the latter and took him to the ruins. When people gathered there after hearing the screams, Sameer ran away smashing the victim’s head with a brick. The victim regained consiousness the next day.

Sameer was then thrown behind bars under sections 323, 377 and 506 of the IPC and the POCSO Act. However, he was released on bail after spending just two years in prison after which he repented and assured the locals that he would not repeat his crime. He even pretended as a decent human being, but showed his true colors yet again.
