Geez, its got 240Z and 911 vibes with a dash of Opel?
I always just think 240z when i see those headlight
It's a Puma GTE from 1980's. There was no GTI, as the first electronically inject car here in Brazil was the Gol GTi in 1989 (not Golf, the Gol).
GTE and GTI are the same car - it was renamed to GTI from 1980 onwards.
Thanks man, I wouldn't have guessed that in a million years.
Man, this car has been on my watchlist forever. I guess I’ll have to go to Brazil to see one. We should be able to import these now.
They were sold here and in Canada for a few years in the 80s. I've seen a handful on the road over the years.

This one sold for a measly 6k$.
Have you ever seen the first-gen Puma GTB? That thing in absolutely gorgeous
I saw this in an industrial park. It's gutted and the floors are non-existent but it looks really cool. Would love to see a pristine example of it.
Wow, only 610 ever made according to that article. Thanks for the link.
What county??
Ontario Canada
Wow, that little puma drove a lot to reach there!
Looks like it barely made it here. lol
To me it looks more similar to a Datsun/Nissan Z car
For a sec that's also what my brain registered it as.
Hah I saw the windshield shape and the way back window shape and my first instinct was datsun zx
It looks like an Opel GT was gang raped by a trainload of Vegas
this is porche from scratch
Wild. How’d this end up in Ontario?!
No idea but when I go back in a few days to see my mechanic I'll try to find the owner and ask him a few questions. Apparently it's been there for over a year like that. BTW, how'd you know it's in Ontario? Did you make out the plates on that white van?
Yes haha
It’s the Porsche from GTA Vice City
Beaten Pfister Comet, Lol
PUMA GTI, from Brazil
Spotted one a few days ago to
VW puma
Puma is its own brand, not a VW product. Sure, it uses VW underpinnings, but the body and interior were made by Puma, and they also had their own dealership network.
No
I love a lifted sports car.
I initially thought it was a really ugly 240Z.
I it was a modified spitfire
It's a 240z
Kelmark GT.
Good guess, but /u/Realistic-Border-635 got it.
Fair enough!
That is indeed a very similar looking car. I've never heard of it.
It's Brazilian - a Puma GTI
