**What are webtoons?**

Webtoons are a digital comic format that originated in Korea and has spread outside of the country. There are 3 main things that make webtoons different from traditional print and digital comics:

* Printed on long, vertical strips to make it easier to read on a phone or computer.

* Especially in Asia, they are in color instead of black and white since they are not physically printed.

* Some webtoons have animations and music that play during some chapters. (This is especially true with Comico & Naver/Line)
