This is like the 7th time this has been posted here.
The venerable SAK never has been, and never will be, a weapon.
That’s a very Guardianesque take on the reasons
With regards to knife crime in the UK, a £60 swiss army knife is the least likely culprit.
I'm from the UK, most our knife crime is done with cheap kitchen knives
I’m from the UK too and totally agree
If I can carry this on flights, they have my money
Not a plague of knife crime; it's a plague of knife laws.
I suggested this at least a decade ago. Victorinox will go the Porsche route by changing a premium for a deleted option.
I don't like the direction Vic is headed. That stupid, obscenely expensive and useless mountain knife... WTF?!? Leads me to believe they want to be Swiss Kanye.
What is it then?
Swiss Army Can Opener?
A month ago an Austrian minister announced a new law where it will be forbidden to carry knives. I don't think they will bring it, but the general discussion was about exceptions for SAKs. Unfortunately they were to stupid to weaken the law, therefore every knive - even an inch blade slip joint - would be prohibited then. Unless you own a weapons licence. Then nothing changes and you can open carry machetes in the streets. And you can own firearms... will be an interesting year.

It has already been posted a half dozen times to this subreddit.
Yes, it’s a triumph of media hype seizing on headlines that will get clicks and shares. No need to get hooked on that.
This is all very stupid because Victorinox has already produced bladeless models for many decades - the Jetsetter, the Bladeless, Manicure, SwissFlash, SwissMemory, etc etc.
They shouldn't make a blade less knife. Don't give in to the mental cases
You’re many decades too late - there’s quite a few bladeless models already.
Theyre stupid
Unfortunately you’re doing exactly what the media want.
This is like the tenth time somebody posted this in the past few days
