Hi I'm in the market for about 300Ah of LiFePo4 batteries and my research has lead to a few popular options
LiTime
- affordable
- low temp cut off
- c/2 charging current
- not the best build quality
- heated options
SoK
- low-mid range for affordability
- decent build quality
- user servicable if a cell / bms needs to be replaced
- Oddly low charing current. The (280Ah model)[https://www.us.sokbattery.com/product-page/12v-280ah-lithium-battery-built-in-heater-and-bluetooth] has a recommended charge current of 56A
- heated options
Battle Born
- top tier
- customer support
- high build quality
- c/2 charging current
- heated options
I'm looking for options with self heating, low temp cut off and c / 2 recommended charging current as my transit has a 250A alternator and I would expect to charge with at least 60A+ amps from it depending on the charger I get. I am happy to buy something in the mid range for higher build quality and responsive customer support but I don't think I can justify battle born. Any other recommendations in this range?
