Acorn and oak by lacamas lake
The Sedgwick
Is it amazing? The photos and menu look amazing and I’m surprised by the prices. Seems very reasonable for the wild things on that menu.
It was pretty great! I’d been wanting to go there for a while and we had friends in town from Chicago. I had the duck fat fries and one of the salads and they were both bomb, my companions had the burgers, and the birria and they were equally pleased. The drinks were also top notch!
The vibe was also really nice, upscale experience minus the snooty. Would recommend!
The portions are smaller — think yakitori or tapas plates. It’s a really fun place if you like to try a bunch of stuff since everything is meant to mix and match!
Elements - cannot be beat!
Feast 316 on camas
We recently went to the cove on the waterfront and was very impressed! A bit spendy but sooo good!
The owners of The Cove have another restaurant in Camas called The Hammond. Great food and atmosphere.
Honestly the AC hotel on the water front is some of the best food in Vancouver. It’s a lot more creative than I’d ever expect for a hotel, affordable and it’s damn good. Also, it’s never crowded. I love over in PDX and often cross the river to eat there. It’s definitely lacking intimacy though.
The Sedgwick is also a really fun menu, and much better ambiance.
Dediko. Get Adjaruli, dumplings, and a bottle of wine to start. The then pork mtsvadi, and finish with Turkish coffee and baklava.
La Bottega! My favorite restaurant in Vancouver.
The Cove
Can’t believe no one has recommended El Gaucho! If you truly want a 5 star meal at a steakhouse with too notch service, go here! Definitely pricey, but worth it for a special occasion

Amaros table downtown is always great.
Is the one in Hazel Dell different? I went for the first time recently and was really surprised at how highly regarded Amaros is. Nothing I had was worth writing home about. I was bummed I know how loved it is but, I was really shocked.
I don't like the one in Hazel Dell. It used to be an Applebee's and I think the quality rubbed off on the building. The one downtown has much better food, drinks, service and ambiance.
Is the menu different? Because that was the other thing that was weirdo to me it was allll over the place.
I'd have to check them out but I believe so. Their website offers a downtown menu and a Hazel Dell menu.
Well I’ll give the downtown one a shot some time. But yeah the Hazel Dell location didn’t inspire me to want to go back.
I've been to the DT location more times than I could count but the HD location only once, I was mad the whole time haha. The DT location also has outdoor seating when it's warm out and it's really nice.
This is my wife’s and my go to.
Just ate at el gaucho for my birthday tonight. $600+ for 3 people with 2 bottles of wine……but damn was it too
Expensive. But the drunks are amazing!!!!!!! Dosalas the waterfront
Upscale, not super expensive. Wildfin also waterfront
Vibes. Mcmenamins on the water
Dosalas is terrible lol and dirty. Looks like they haven’t cleaned the window tracks or baseboards since they opened. For the prices they charge, a cleaning crew should be in there nightly.
I’ve only been on their patio. The drinks were the only thing that were worth the price. I think it’s owned by the same dude who owns the Margarita Factory fwiw
Amaros downtown
La Bottega, Amaro’s Table
Fogo de chow. Or something. Brazilian steak house. Idk if it'd swanky or classy but it's expensive
