I remember reading somewhere that outside of the U.S. open concept housing is rare. I don’t know if that’s true, but I’ve been inside a lot of old houses that still have closed concept. Imagine being able to close the door to your kitchen without having pets go in there and jump on the counters. Imagine being able to decorate your only your living room without having a huge space to account for. Imagine being able to eat in a dining room instead of in the living room right next to your couch. Why even have a dining table? You end up eating from the couch anyway. Almost every apartment and house is open concept and they’re awful
