Level of dressing actually does show who you are as a human being.

Of course appearance is an expression of personality. Why wouldn't it be.
I wanted to write the same exact thing.
You can ABSOLUTELY judge someone by their clothes, it's the most immediate and outward expression of someone's individuality.
Doesn't mean it shows the full picture of who they are, that should be a given. But it is very telling in general.
I'm rich but dress like a slob. Lots of wanna bees spend their whole cheque trying to look like they have money. Bla bla book by it's s cover kinda thing
Maybe people want to dress nicely to feel good about themselves since they don’t have enormous wealth to provide that sense of self-worth. (Not talking about overpriced $400 luxury shirts, but making the effort to look sharp on a midrange budget)
Yeah my best friend recently started making 6 figures for the first time in his life, and he finally has enough income to dress the way he wants. And yeah we give him shit for spending too much on clothes cause we’re his friends, but he does have a good sense of fashion and likes him some $400 shoes. I might tease him about it but really I’m glad he has the money to dress himself the way he wants, and he definitely does it mostly just because he likes looking nice.
There are options in between "slob" and covered in labels.
I bet they wear jeans and a tee shirt and call it dressing like a slob lol
Nah bro, most genuinely wealthy people I know wear athleisure that is beat to hell and is a decade old. And was cheap when it was new.
Most folks that come from genuine wealth don't want to advertise it, they're typically pretty sick of people trying to take advantage of them.

I like where your heads at. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I have suits and ties that I wear when I need to, if I don't need to, I wear what is comfortable and easy on the environment, which to me means second hand.
