Back again for another question about my recently inherited Imperial The Good Companion! I loaded the new ribbon and was very excited to finally see some letters on my paper and am left once again, with a blank sheet of paper! The keys are coming as close as a couple of cm’s away from the paper, but not quite hitting it.
I saw some people mention the margin release on a similar post I found, but I can see that when the margin lock is on when I go past the margins, it keeps the keys about an inch or two away from the paper so I’m not sure if it is related or not, however none of the keys hit so it must be something of that sort. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this problem?
