Sprightly derives from spright, which is an alternate spelling of sprite, so the idea was misguided.
If I were you and wanted to use that name, I'd at least change the spelling. Sprite is generally the preferred spelling, but on the other hand people might assume you're named after a Coca-Cola product — which would still be better than their assuming you were named after a Coca-Cola product by people who couldn't spell.
