This is Mustard! I’m part of a rehoming Facebook group, and I saw a post about her. One of the owner’s friends (who made the post) went out to get her when she found out she was left behind. The owner lived in a somewhat isolated house out in the woods. It was sort of an urgent issue, as the friend is severely allergic and had dogs who tried to attack her, and she would have to take her to the shelter if nobody got her asap. I just felt in my gut I had to try and get her. When I reached out, I was the only person who had contacted her. So of course I said I would take her.

Mustard is clearly very sweet, but obviously somewhat traumatized and unsure. I don’t know how long she was left abandoned at the house. She wants love and approaches to be pet while purring, but will also randomly hiss and swat. I have her isolated in one room while she settles in and gets more comfortable. I love her so much already!! I can tell she will be the sweetest girl once she feels less anxious. I’m so happy I was able to give her a home!
