I have the purefiber 1gb speed with the tm3200 modem. My problem is I have too many devices where certain devices will stop connecting, so I had to remove a few cams, light switches, printer, and miscellaneous stuff from the wifi network.
The location of my modem does not have any coax cable nearby, so I cannot use a moca adaptor.
If I were to buy a random 1 expansion wifi booster off craigslist, and place it right next to (or very close to) the tm3200, will I see any improvement and able to reconnect my devices?
The telus representative said I will need to either upgrade to 1.5gb speed or subscribe to their wifi plus plan to be able to connect so many devices, which is what I would like to avoid if possible.
