fellow females who like females, I need some queer book recommendations?

mine ;) Just kidding im not finished yet but its about two 'friends' and one of them dies so they try and tell each other how they truly feel while one being a ghost. Its supposed to be a play on the whole gay characters always die trope lol

I know it isnt a good, game or movie but i would so recommend shera! All the characters* are queer coded and its so cute and fun! And the story is also really good after about minus the middle part of season one. Good luck with all your queer reading this summer!

my first sapphic book was gearbreakers! it has a post-apocalyptic/futuristic style and the main characters are VERY well written. it's an enemies to lovers book and honestly it was one of the best reads I've ever had! (it has a sequel too, godslayers)

1. Ask the passengers by A.S. king: this one is a lesbian discovery story about a girl navigating her sexuality

2. Annie on my mind by Nancy Garden: this one is also a lesbian discovery story, be warned it has a VERY bittersweet ending

fun fact:

this book used to be banned in entire COUNTRIES because, it was one of the first ever books with characters clearly stated instead of hinted as being lesbians that were the main characters instead of side characters.

1. The year Shakespeare ruined my life by Dani Jansen: this book is a cute lesbian love story, where the characters already know their sexuality from the get go

I hope you love these recommendations, 1 and 2 are my personal faves as I love a good coming out story, but 3 also has a special place in my heart for being so fun.
