Hi! New here, just wanted to ask what workaround can I do because I applied for 2 full time jobs (one night and one day shift and both WFH). I’ll be starting next week. Both will contribute to government mandated taxes. I did not disclose on either both companies that I have other work and I didn’t see anything in the contract that I cannot work in another company. What will happen with my taxes?
right.
Tax - You’re disqualified for substitute filing. You’ll have a problem in your ITR later on. BIR has no problem with this as long as you file correctly.
Solution: file for mixed income earner, get your COR and inform both that your tax profile is mixed income earner - meaning ikaw mag fifile.
Mandatory benefits - both of them will know ang kalokohan mo dito. Gawan mo to ng paraan kung ayaw mong makasuhan ng isa sknla or worse both.
Solution: Declare it to them.
when it comes to mandatory benefits how will they know?
May maximum contributions per month, they will be informed na napuno na ung monthly. Esp pag malaki sahod mo.
can I open another SSS/Philhealth/Pag-ibig accounts?
No
No other way but to inform them that you are going to work for 2 employers. At very much certain na malalaman din nila.
You should inform your employer, kasi baka magka problema ka sa ITR mo. Kasi dalawang employer ang meron ka. Just make sure na ikaw yung mag pepay ng Income Tax return mo, kasi if isang Employer ang mag fafile ng ITR mo then di nya alam na employed ka rin sa iba, baka di ma sali yung compensation income mo sa isang employer mo.
but is it okay if they are both paying my taxes?
Both will deduct taxes pero both are in an assumption na sila lang employer mo so the 250k tax exempt income will be applied twice (pero dapat once lang) so mag ku kulang ang deducted income mo so you have to file your own ITR para ma account ng maayos, else, pwede ka makasuhan ng tax evasion
Pero if you add your two compensations sa dalawang employer mo, you will exceed na sa 250k tax exempt, so you have to pay it on your ITR annual filing.
Totals ng NET Compensation (2 employers), minus 250k, is equals to Taxable Compensation Income.
Taxable compensation income multiplied by 15% is equals to annual tax due mo.
Sabihin mo sa kanila kase meron nyan sa office akala nya di alam both companies pero Di nya ALAM under investigation na sya, bawal yan malalaman din nila yan sa background check at sa government benefits mo kaya kung ako sayo sabihin mo na at need mo mamili sa dalawa or else mawawalan ka ng trabaho or worst pa blacklist ka. Double job is acceptable naman as long as freelance yung isa.
So ang sabi naman sa payroll ko sa isang company which is a thirdparty payroll I can file daw multiple income earner for BIR then sa mandated benefits I need to secure certificate of no deduction of Statutory contribution indicating that your other employer will handle it.
Yeah you can do that but that means that you have to ask one of your employers to not deduct and give mandated benefits. That will raise huge red flags. The only conclusion they'll arrive at is that you have another FULL TIME job.
What about govt mandatory contributions? If they will remit those deductions, they'll know you have a current employer. They need to update your employer in those agencies. As for taxes, double deduction ng 250k exemption ang mangyayari since di mo sinabi sa isa na may iba ka pang employer.
