Does anybody else not get high when they smoke outside?

for me if anything I get higher when I smoke outside but that’s because I mainly smoke inside so when I do smoke outside it’s more interesting I guess

This happens to me too lol. I know there’s no evidence for it but I still feel less high. I think because there is just already more going on outside so I’m more focused on what’s around me rather than if I’m sitting at home and just smoked before hopping on a video game or something

i feel the same way but what i think it is, is just us having our guard up because we’re outside so the mind isnt totally relaxed it could also be the wind just smoking the blunt, but outside sessions really depend on the situation

Why would that affect your high? Don't think there is any medical evidence. Not any diff for me. 10+ year smoker

If you’re outside you’re inherently working out. Whether it’s simply walking or moving while sitting down. Most sesh’s indoors don’t involve a lot of movement. I’ve noticed this because I always have to smoke after getting out of bed just to use the bathroom or brush my teeth.

If I get high inside it hits my like a fucking truck when I go outside

i literally am convinced this is true but i think it’s the action of moving and having to smoke outside rather than relaxing completely being like in your room or staying in one place, i also personally think I feel more high around people too because you’re more aware if they’re not smoking or even if you are seshing with someone or a group it’s less likely you’ll be moving around too much so it’s the same concept. But always felt this to my core and bring it up to my friends constantly 😂

I don't think it really makes a difference maybe it's something similar to the placebo effect like let's say you just had shit weed when u first smoked outside and your brain started associating smoking outside w not getting as high as when ur inside

i only smoke outside in the dark, i don’t feel high until i go inside

It’s not the fact you’re smoking outside, it’s the fact that you are smoking everyday. Your tolerance is high, plus being more alert in the wind = body high over a head high.

Drugs/weed/alcohol are no different to one another I a sense of your mood and other factors can play a role on How they effect ,

I’ve heard of like situational sobriety or something like that. Just meaning that context and setting affects the feelings of intoxication, either increasing or decreasing them depending on what’s going on around you

having your guard up outside, plus if you go outside to smoke and then clean up and go inside, that’s extra work and moving around so that could be a reason, im definitely higher when i’m relaxing and not moving around

As someone who used to smoke inside and now smokes outside pretty sure it’s down to a few things; the wind rain etc cuz if it’s windy it’s burning away, being in a non enclosed space as your not hotboxing your bedroom and just the atmosphere of being outside causing you to feel different while high. That’s what I’d think anyway
