Porterhouse, pan seared with black garlic salt seasoning.
[ Porterhouse ]Aussie here, porterhouse in Australia I think is called a New York Strip in America.
It is, to us, a porterhouse is a t bone. With the NY strip, try to sear that fat cap a little more. Otherwise great job
Interesting, I had no idea cuts were different names from different countries. Cool to know.
Typical American, I do often forget names differ from country to country. Hope it was tasty
It’s a top but or top sirloin in the US.
Not a strip loin or NY Strip
Not everyone one here is from NA.
It sounds absolutely delicious! I bet the black garlic salt seasoning gives it a unique flavor.
Omg I would eat the shit out of this plate
What's the recipe for the side (is it creamy rice?)
Store bought pasta mix, good in a pinch.
Fooled me for a proper risotto 🤙 well done all around! 🙌
It looks like pasta to me. Maybe spaetzel or orzo, idk
I say creamy rice because I ordered a steak in Medellin that came with something that looks like that, and it was rice and absolutely delightful
If you look closely, you'll see that whatever it's made of is flat and curved. It's definitely not rice
That white strip/cartilage on the right side of the steak....is that in every strip and do y'all eat it? It grossed me out and I cut it away with each bite.
You killed it with the meat, but… what’s that side? It looks yummy.
Needs something green
Holy crap that looks delicious
That looks good
Looks delicious but I’m not sure that’s a porterhouse. A porterhouse is a bone in steak with a strip on one side and a filet on the other.
