What snoeshow to buy for summiting mountains?

Definitely the Evo Ascent then. Equally as capable in the mountains as the Lightning. It’s the gold standard snowshoe and has been for quite a while. At 170 I’d go 22” with tails.

I use the Revo Ascents. For all intents and purposes it’s the same as the Evo with an upgraded binding. The paragon is definitely better in terms of both fit and ease of use. The big difference being you need only one strap to get in and out instead of four. The major upside to the plastic deck on the Evo/Revo is that it’s bombproof. Many days and routes include variable conditions that can change from bare rock to 6’ of snow in an instant. The plastic decks can clomp for miles over any sort of terrain without fear or damaging or breaking them. The downside to the plastic is that it’s loud as hell in anything but deep, fresh snow. You get used to it I guess.
