The secret double double double reference
Like Urkel
“Urkel is a beloved character that appeared on the hit show Family Matters during TGIF”
“TGIF was a block of television shows that aired between 8pm and 10pm on Friday nights on ABC”
“ABC was a broadcasting company. A broadcasting company is who produced television shows before the internet”
I'm seeing double! Four references!
You fucked around and got a triple double.
But they gave me the double double double double!
MC CHAMPAGNE MILLIONAIRE!! DA GLOCK POINTERS!!
I ordered a double double reference and they gave me a double double double double.
Remember in the series finale when we discovered he wasnt wearing a tie at all
Shocking courtroom drama
"Just ask this scientician!"
"Uh-"
They’re not going to understand our NYPD Shoe sketch. It’s basically the same thing
What about the Big Ear family?
Crazy, my wife was just telling me about how her 16 year old nephew had watched all of the Simpsons. There’s gotta be plenty of references he doesn’t get. Like there’s no way he knows who Ernest Borgnine is, or even older references like Rory Calhoun and stuff that I had to google. But on the other hand he probably gets jokes from like season 30 that I wouldn’t get.
You mean the guy who’s always standing and walking?
Yes! Exactly!
I get your point but you're out of your mind if you think kids don't know the voice of mermaid man!
Tbh I don’t even know what that is

Ohh, I mean even still would kids know the name of a voice actor? Seems highly unlikely to me.
That's the only reason I know him.
His credit was a whole page with his name hella big and fun to pronounce.
Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen an episode of SpongeBob. Had no idea he was in it. I only know of him as an actor from before my time.
I’m 51 and I barely knew who Ernest Borgnine was when I first saw that episode. All I knew is he was hilarious. “Hey, where’s the sissy and the fat guy goin’? Huh?”
Great line.
Now do Sheriff Lobo.
Lobo... Lobo.... Bring back sheriff lobo!!!
Woody woodpecker is a much more current reference than this Sipowicz character you keep mentioning!
this is doubly helpful because it also makes me understand a joke in Friends that I was also too young to get lol
Sick reference, bro
Marge: If Detective Sipowicz jumped off a bridge…?
Homer <excitedely>: Sipowicz jumped off a bridge?!
Hey shit happens
Whoa man you just ran through a big pile of dog shit!
It happens
What, shit?
Sometimes
If you've only seen this movie on tnt, like me, it's "it" in every case
He gets results, you stupid chief!
Can you tell me what a Chachi is next?

Homer makes this reference in Season 7.
Sipowicz was played by Dennis Franz.
Dennis Franz portrayed Homer in "Homer S.: Portrait of an Ass Grabber" in Season 6.
So ergo and hereto, Homer is saying if the guy who played him in a movie can do it in another show, so can he!
