Was just rewatching Three Amigos last night and you’re spot on. Chevy doesn’t move his body as much but his nonverbal facial expressions are next level.
Maybe not what you're looking for but I always thought Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, John C Reilly, Martin Short, and Bill Murray had some gold physical comedy skills
Larry Hankin of course. He played the Kramer for Jerry's NBC pilot. I love that guy. He actually tried out the part for the real Kramer but was second to Michael Richards. I love that they got him to play the Kramer in the "show within a show" Larry was hilarious doing the audition bit including the Levels. "Oh, Ill be comfortable" Do any of you older people remember he was in Escape from Alcatraz vs Clint Eastwood?
Also has a bit part in Home Alone where Kevin’s parents call the local police station and they transfer them to Larry who answers the child care hotline.
I think a little bit Stan Laurel from Laurel and Hardy. I guess technically both are great physical comedy actors but i would see Stan as more comparable to Kramer than Ollie. Stan was a great unintentional foil.
Jacques Tati, it’s a French comedian , Director who created the Monsieur Hulot character for a serie of films between 1950 to 1970. Kramer and Mr Hulot share a lot of, both are very clumsy person. I suggest watching Monsieur Hulot’s Holiday, one of the best comedy movies of all time.
