Totally my favorite billboard to have shoved in my face after a long day
I guess there’s something mundane about politics in the Bay Area. For the most part, everyone thinks the same way. In 2020 I went to visit my uncle in Utah, absolutely stunning part of it to I might add. He was a Bernie Bro atheist like me but all of his Mormon neighbors had trump signs out. There was something exciting about being in the land of the opposite. Nice, awesome people too, their brains are just programmed right wing. Anyway, whenever I see a conservative sign or MAGA hat come out of the woodwork I don’t even think “that’s some bullshit I don’t agree with” I just think it’s kind of punk rock I guess. Because let’s be real, the Bay Area for a conservative is like Frodo baggins in Morodor.
While I don’t agree with the sign, in my head I’m picturing people raging in their cars gripping their steering wheels harder that kind of shit is funny to me
There are conservatives everywhere around here. This isn’t San Francisco. I see Trump and other conservative stickers, flags, hats and shirts daily. And I don’t give a shit, half of my family does, but it’s not punk rock in the slightest. It is interesting though that harmful, brain dead conspiracy theories now somehow signify conservative politics…
Come on you’re not seeing trump anything daily around here. Your idea of something being “punk rock” and mine are different I guess.
I absolutely do see it daily lol. All over Sonoma county
