Rewording this question. Preferably no ridicule from Russians on choice of words for tattoo.
RequestAs said already done. Don’t reply to posts you don’t read.
I read the post lol. It’s stupid to get tattoos in languages you don’t speak.
It really should be an automatic response on this subreddit whenever someone posts about getting a tattoo in Russian when they don’t speak Russian.
It’s cringey, 100%. Just like getting “psycho” in English tattooed on your body is cringey.
“Evil psycho” my god are you 12 years old?
Great. Keyboard warrior. Not dealing. Have fun tryna starting fights over stupid shit.
I’m answering your question. Why post this if you’re just going to get offended at the answer?
You asked if it’s cringey. It’s in the post. I’m telling you “evil psycho” is cringy as fuck in any language.
I’m not against tattoos by any means, but why would you permanently write “evil psycho” on your body unless you’re some kind of edgelord? Especially in a language you don’t speak.
I didn’t ask if it was cringy. I stated that I was told by itself it was cringy and asked if it sounded cringy in relation. Overall my main question was what was a 4 letter word that went with it. Would never get evil physical in English. Would never get the word evil in English. That’s why I asked the question in the first place didn’t kno how it sounded. I got the answer.
Your post contains the text:
Is it too cringy if it’s in relation to псих
Are you forgetting your own words? You didn’t really write that much.
The answer is yes. It’s really fucking cringy. Don’t get pissy at me for answering your question. You asked it.
It's perfectly acceptable to use masculine псих in relation to a woman.
Preferably no ridicule from Russians on choice of words for tattoo
absolutely not gonna happen. If it's this cringe for just a few words, I can't even imagine how Japanese or Chinese handle westerner's tattoo habits.
Have been told that “злой» by itself too cringy. Is it too cringy if it’s in relation to “псих» or does that just make it worse? And if so ANY recommendations for 4 letter words that could potentially go well with псих?
yes, complete utter cringe. I'd advise you to lean on that and pick a completely unrelated theme. Like "caмогон" or "коровник". Поганка is pretty nice too. If you insist on 4 letters only, try хряк - it'll be quite humorous, though also masculine.
Half feel like this comment is insulting. Half don’t know what to think of it.
Up to you. I was half-joking.
And if so ANY recommendations for 4 letter words that could potentially go well with псих?
"Дура" xD
On a slightly more serious note, how much Russian do you speak? You might just wanna google for the list of synonyms to whatever word you have in mind, and explore the options.
That’s a hard question to answer. I speak quite a bit of Russian. It’s just all over the place from the way I’ve learned it. Been doing this. Just can’t seem to find something. Anyway. Think I got the word from one of the few ppl on the post not being a dick. Prolly deleting now
Ah, you're not paying attention, I'm the dick who posted the very first answer. Anyway, since you understand some Russian, literally googling for synonyms will help you more that just asking random strangers.
?? I wasn’t referring to YOU specifically as the dick more so other ppl because I really didn’t know how to take your comment in the first place.
Don't take it too seriously.
Lol you’re good. As soon as I saw the word коровка, figured you were either joking or fucking wit me. But yeah. Been googling words for a min.
As soon as I saw the word коровка, figured you were either joking or fucking wit me
well, yes, but it was коровник, not коровка. Google some pictures on yandex to understand the scale of fuckery :D
Since I see this post in the app but not on the web, I assume you deleted it, so I'm answering a comment. But I had a couple of thoughts that could be helpful.
First, consider the word злюка. It's feminine, it means someone who is злой on a regular basis, and it's not too long. Maybe it fits your needs, and I didn't see others suggesting it.
Then, if you're worried about "псих", consider adding this owl character besides the word: https://img0.joyreactor.cc/pics/post/full/%D0%95%D0%B6%D0%B8%D0%BA-%D0%B2-%D1%82%D1%83%D0%BC%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B5-%D0%B1%D0%BE%D1%8F%D0%BD-%D0%A1%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0-%D1%91%D0%B6%D0%B8%D0%BA-1160138.jpeg , it will make the word completely adequate. The image is from the short animation film "Ёжик в тумане", if you want to understand the context, and it's a good watch regardless of any tattoos, just for someone learning/with intermediate Russian.
Очень полезно и хорошая идея. (Сова, имею в виду) да, смотрела этот фильм несколько месяцев назад. И злюка тоже хорошо. Prolly will add some humor. Не хочу тату быть совсем серьезном. Спасибо
Well, then you can consider adding this character to the word "злюка": https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/antropo/images/9/9f/%D0%94%D1%8E%D0%B4%D1%8E%D0%BA%D0%B0_%D0%B1%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B1%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%BE%D0%BA%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%8F.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20161117075257 (from "Подарок для слона") :)
Нету картинки. Просто: Но это что? Тоже фильм? Если есть, посмотрю
Да, это тоже мультфильм. Поищите по названию, или по имени персонажа, её зовут Дюдюка Барбидокская.
Хорошо. Больше спасибо…неужели. Удалила из за того что много людей не помогали. Несколько людей пытались мне помочь, но большинство людей просто высмеивали. Итак, серьезно пасиб. Я скоро посмотрю, попозже ночью.
I understand that you are okay with having tattoos that mean something roughly equivalent to "evil psycho", but you want to make sure that this actually sounds natural in Russian?
It does.
The word "злой" on its own however would look awkward, because then everybody would be confused about who that "злой" man you are referring to is. If you, however, have the whole phrase "злой псих", then people will assume that you are referring to yourself, and you are the "злой псих". In this case, the word "псих" works when referring to a woman.
Большое спасибо
Why do you even need an edgy tattoo?
In the sense of I’m asking a question. You’re replying with another question that does not relate to my question. Pointless. And of absolutely no help.
I don’t NEED any tattoos rlly. Edgy? I wasn’t thinking of edginess. What’s the point of your question?
"оз", to make it psychosis
Adjectives other than злой, 4 lettes specifically? Ярый is the only other one i can think off.
Side note - псих (psycho, crazy, nuts) is already cringy AF. The only thought i'd possibly think noticing the word "псих" tattooed on you out in the wild, with or without those adjectives, would be something like "...блин, вот ебанутая..." and there is simply no way around that.
Only knew this word as “bright”. When I add псих, becomes “terrible”. Just gonna take another persons advice to add some humor to it since it was nvr suppose to be rlly serious.
If you are looking for something a bit sillier, consider "лютый" (fierce/dire, as in dire wolf) or "дикий".
Only knew this word as “bright”.
You may be confusing it with "яркий"
Один (one), тута (here is), пока (still), мать (mother), чуть (a little bit), баба (~woman), дама/леди (lady), мисс (miss), мозг (brain), чудо (miraculous), дура (stupid), этот (this)... Idk what else can fit. If you really want something like that, then леди or дама the best possible options, they don't add something to псих, but turn it into feminine word.
Anyway all options are cringy in one way or another, self-ironic at best.
I was literally just thinking “здесь» or “тут» but one was five the other was three so “туда» will prolly go with. Thankyou. Naw yeah suppose to be more ironic than serious.
“туда» will prolly go with
туда means "movement over in that direction". Where do I go to find <>? Туда! If you want it to be "here psycho", you'd have to use "тута" which is a colloquialism and sound uneducated-like.
Damnit you’re right. Туда сюда. In motion. Now kinda just irritated that I already thought of this word and then had the same thought that you just commented right after I thought it then forgot. May just go with тут. If it doesn’t look too off
I will warn you that this is the most humorous option. "Тута" sounds rather childish, it's how children pronounce the word "тут", and adults usually say it for comic effect. It's like the difference between "the way" and "da wei".
But I can promise you that the "псих тута" tattoo will make most Russian speakers laugh in a good way.
Perhaps, yeah “один» and maybe “пока» Can’t ever trust a person on Reddit saying “it would be good/funny in a good way” if I don’t know for sure it would be. 98% of time, being fucked wit. But would love to add humor to it esp since it’s not suppose to be actually super serious in the first place.
сука Would be nice and cool
or псих епта
Don’t get tattoos in languages you don’t speak
Edit: OP blocked me even though I'm literally just answering their question. Don't ask questions about dumbshit edgy tattoos if you can't handle the responses...
