Rick and Morty News, Discussion, and More!
r/rickandmorty•2.7M subscribers•60 activeI want to read the rick and morty comics, but i dont know what order i should read them in or where to buy the real ones. I dont know which comics are fan made or real, and i dont want to accidentally get a fan made one. unless theyre all fan made?? I wanted to get some on amazon but i dont know which ones i should get.
Ok, so I’m already aware that the Beth we meet in S1 is Rick prime’s Beth and not Rick c137 because c137 Beth is dead. But now my question is this. What happened to that Beth after the cronenberg incident? Is she space Beth? Or did Rick just leave behind the Beth that he chose to take care of for so many years? I know that he also gets a new Beth once they hop realities after cronenberg incident. Just doesn’t seem like Rick to leave the Beth he specifically raised from a child.
Personally, I enjoyed s7e8 and I don't really get the overall negative reception on the episode. Why do people dislike it so much?
Does anybody else think the end of this episode is sad? I think the reality of everything hits Morty. He looks like he is in shock. Rick Potion No.9
The Rick and morty anime will hopefully release this year so what's your expectations for it.Me personally i dont watch animes so i dont know what to expect but hopefully it will be good since they are making it for like 3 years now.
Apologies if this has already been figured out - I searched the sub and couldn't find anything about it, but it's still possible this is old news.
There was a point where Dan Harmon mentioned fans had guessed a potential major twist in the series - one they hadn't fully committed to but were possibly planning to reveal at some point in the show. And then they dropped the twist, essentially because they were annoyed someone had guessed it. But he never actually said what the twist was... [Dramatic pause] UNTIL NOW.
Actually, until two years ago in this interview https://youtu.be/SndbyN4u0j4?si=Nfuv9uODFwgGHgSd (between the 48 and 49 minute mark).
For those who don't want to click, the theory was that Rick and Morty were actually supposed to be the same person, in a time travel sort of scenario. I could see that working, there's little hints here and there that would lend credence to the theory (Rick having pictures of baby Morty in Birdperson's house, despite Rick supposedly not being around at that point - they were actually pictures of Rick himself; Rick's aversion to any time travel related adventures - he didn't want Morty to find out they were the same person; etc).
It's not a bad twist. I'm on the fence of whether or not I would have liked that reveal, there is definitely part of me that thinks if they'd just not addressed the theory and let a handful of fans be validated by guessing it ahead of time, it would've been pretty cool. But it sounds like they dropped it fairly early on to give us a completely different set of twists, which I also am perfectly fine with.
Anyway, that's all, just thought it was interesting to finally get some confirmation about this.
With so many crazy moments in Rick and Morty there are some priceless quotes, so I was wondering what is everyone’s favorite quote of this incredible show?
Please share! And if you can state what episode it is from that would be great 😉
Just any rant he’s done. What’s your favorite one to watch?
Think about it! Yes, what does the pancreas make? Insulin. YES! Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas that helps regulate blood sugar levels by moving glucose from the blood into cells in the body. What did Pirates do? They often plundered Sugar from merchants. You could totally make a case where Pirates were either stealing sugar from the body or storing the sugar from their plunder in the host body!
I mean seriously, Turkey Vs Aliens, that Pope episode, etc? Like I bet before all the flesh monsters, the old dimension used to be normal. Rick and Morty's family and the general public knowledge history of the world are the only things that was the same, and that's why they didn't notice.
Hey, I wanna rewatch the series before I watch season 7, I already have a list of all the plot focused episodes, but tbh a lot of the best stuff about Rick and Morty are the episodic episodes and random adventures. What are the best episodes of each season in your opinion?
Thank you
