I work front of house at a restaurant. I love the job, the place, the people - but the head chef torments me. Let's call him Sam.

Sam, by the way, is way more involved then a head chef usually is (or should be). He's kind of a big deal as a chef (been on TV and stuff) so is the face of the business and the main boss, even over the general manager.

I am a young woman, conventionally attractive, experienced, good at my job and popular among my colleagues. What I'm trying to say is - I'm such an inoffensive human being so I am genuinely confused as to why he verbally abuses specifically me with such hatred and aggression. I don't know why he does it.

He screams at me constantly for nothing at all, and it's gone so far that he'll engineer situations just to scream at me. If a guy spoke to his wife or girlfriend the way Sam does to me, it would definitely be labelled verbal psychological abuse.

He is an abusive alcoholic asshole who makes a young girl miserable just for sport.

Anything I could do for revenge? Nothing that can identify me or cause me to lose my job/not be able to work there. I can deal with Sam - I just think he should pay.
