How bizarre. Funny that a lot of people sniffed it out as a hoax immediately. Wish I could remember what if any thoughts I had about it but covid erased all my memories of the year of our lord 2019
I sniffed it out immediately and was banned from reddit for hate speech lol.
The idea that racist maga bros were riding around in a truck in the middle of Chicago (carrying a pre-made noose) and they recognized a b-list actor from a black tv show to assault.... ludicrous.
It’s a liberals idea of what a racist would do. It was the same thing with the UVA frat rape story. It was very clearly just fiction passed as truth to anyone who didn’t want to have something fit their narrative
Nooses in particular seem to be more of a fixation among black people than among white racists. I'm sure some hicks were using them in earnest back in the day, but every time I've heard of noose symbolism in a contemporary context it's been a hoax or false alarm.
Yeah, hate crime fakers always incorporate hundreds of years of symbolism and imagery into their hoaxes because they think racists sit around and read The Turner Diaries or something and think "Ah, yeah, this 'Day of the Rope' stuff sounds great, I should go do that now to the first (boop) I see!"
In reality, most "hate crimes" occur when, like, a Mexican guy cuts someone off in traffic and as the other driver is punching said Mexican man in the face for being a shitty driver, he yells a slur
