These aren’t bad to print. You can print flat without supports.
I have some smaller nozzles that Im told help when tuned right for detail but Ive never gone that small :D
I have 0.4 nozzle
bro there is NO WAY you’re serious. this came out a .4?
Ya I have experimented with printing small parts with a .4 and they come out good (the secret is to go reallllly slow)
Yep it’s depend on the model. I’ve designed this without needing any support for printing.
Video of it drifting?
Sorry the link isn’t working. Name of your channel?
It’s @Driffs64 on YouTube.
Thanks. I was interested to see how well it drifts. Do you run a gyro? How does it perform versus Turbo Racing drift car? I ask because I got a C64 and find it pretty lacking.
To be honest, this is diy and needs more improvement. I’m still in the testing phase to try to get it to drifts better. I do have gyro but weight distribution could be what’s lacking for drifting. I’m hoping more people will be interested in making their own version so we can learn from each other.
This is super dope, I've been meaning to try to do something like this for a while now. I've got most of the parts I just don't know much about the linkages for steering so I haven't done much in solidworks yet.
It looks very much designed for FDM, have you done any testing with MSLA/SLA or SLS? You mention weight distribution in another comment and you might be able to better accommodate with those.
Awesome sauce! My printer cant do that fine a detail, but man Id love to print up a small chassis :D
