Any idea how they got in?
QuestionMy guess would be maybe you left a tv on or something, and zombies migrate so maybe they were walking nearby, heard the TV and barged in
TV is off (turned it off the first day), and migration by default is disabled. This closes out the sound reason. Now, I did enable a setting which allows zombies to naturally move in and out of houses / trigger alarms, as its more life like. But there should have been 0 sound made that would of attract them.
There doesn’t have to be sound to attract zeds. They do just move around on their own, so they do sometimes just happen into your base, especially if you haven’t cleared very far around it.
You do also make noise just walking around, open and closing doors, etc.
To clarify, this happened right as I woke up from sleep, so they entered the house while I was sleeping (I as in the character). Unless she snorts like a darn industrial vacuum cleaner, I have no idea why these pesky wanderers would stumble in for a welcoming party.
Migration is turned off, but if they still walk around, that sort of explains it, especially with the settings for them to break doors/windows even when just walking around without any attraction.
Yeah probably just a random occurrence.
Once I’d been living in a house for a few days. It wasn’t my main base, I was mostly living out of my car.
Finally one day I realize I hadn’t opened one of the closets. Open it and there’s a zed in there. I’d been living in this house for several days making a fair amount of noise, and this zed had t banged on the door once.
My point is that the zeds could’ve easily snuck up over the course of a few days, and finally just broke in.
