Just bought a house with a pool. Where do I start?

The first thing you need to do is go to troublefreepool.com and read Pool School. Do this at night after the kids have gone to bed or you’re settled in. You and your husband should go thru this at the same time. As for the air leak you really just have to listen and feel around. You have a crack or a bad pipe seal. A small spray bottle with 3 drops of soap will help you find the leak. Listen fisted then feel around while the pump is on and when you think you’ve pin pointed the rough area spray a little soapy water on the pipe. The leak will suck the soapy water in. Don’t worry about a little soap in the pool it won’t hurt it. From there you should be able to repair it or have someone else repair it. Troublefreepool.com is an amazing resource.
