I’m (28m) very recently out of a long term relationship with a woman I foolishly gave a lot of my time and money, just to have her be unfaithful to me.

I’m extremely fortunate to still have a place to live at low cost, but I’m a college dropout with a resume mainly involving manual labor. I have basically no savings, and feel absolutely overwhelmed by even starting to address the process of creating financial independence or early retirement for myself.

Where do I even start? I’ve been paycheck to paycheck since I left college & it can be okay when the life you live is happy. But now I have nothing, no one, and no money. I’m not even sure how to begin.
