Gorgeous game- Ghost of Tsushima PC
Game Image/VideoIt's at least a well taken photo
Funny thing is Ghost of Tsushima has one of the most amazing in-game photo mode.
Then OP seriously took a photo from his phone wtf
Maybe OP is running HDR.
It's even worse being on pc, so many different ways to take a screen shot
Pretty sure this comment is saying "PC has so many options to screenshot so it's even worse for PC players to use their phones", which is supportive of the comment above it, so why did it get downvoted?
Who is responsible for this? Native speakers misunderstanding due to poor structure or non-Native just simply misunderstanding? I thought it was a perfectly comprehensible comment (I'm not native).
Brain dead redditors, what's funny is that i have another comment saying the same thing here but that one is more upvoted than the comment i replied to originally.
🤷♂️ reddit hivemind
How is that a problem
I think he means that there are multiple ways to take a screenshot, yet some people still choose to take a photo of their screen instead of learning one of them.
I mean, people here are irrational and just see worse and being on pc and think immediately to downvote that without actually trying to digest what's being said.
Oh yeh, rip
Win + print screen?
Or just f12
I prefer win + shift + S
Having played the ps4 version some years ago I can’t believe how much of a step up it is on PC at high settings and framerates. Having a blast and constantly in awe of the visuals rn.
Same here. Played the ps4 version 4 years ago and loved it. Now playing though it again on PC on mostly high settings at 80fps to 100fps most the time and it's fucking magical lol.
There is a really good photo mode in this game OP.
USE IT.
Oh yes, ingame photo mode is so great! Just wish we could move stamps the photo mode provides, but that is a minor gripe.
your jin lookin like he ate to many pork rolls
Such a cinematic game
Temple Battle! Fastest vs draw at that point in the game.
Nice strawhat
100%, this game is the best thing that been on PC for a minute. More devs could learn a thing what a proper game and release is.
Now imagine people complaining that games does not look better than PS5 in performance mode.
People will complain even if the poet is flawless.
Yeah, true. Thing is though, the game mechanics, the story including semi-historic cultural representation, the artistic rendering... those are what makes this game a masterpiece.
I am a huge fan of a well polished game. I think many would agree that although having strong hardware to push visual limits is great, the majority of people just want something that sucks you in.
I honestly cannot remember the last time I played a game where I couldn't put it down. It's been a long time. My buddy recommended this title as soon as it was announced for PC and I'm so glad he did.
I've platinumed the game on PS4. Glad people enjoy it.
I think Zero Dawn: Forbidden West is even better looking than Ghost of Tsushima. Having said that GoT looks great and has that specific visual style going for it. So despite having perhaps less polygons or some ingame objects being simpler, it still looks and runs great,
Heck, even the non-combat stuff like composing Haikus or playing flute on top of a mountain while enjoying the majestic view is adding so much to the overal mood / atmosphere of this game and I love it!
This game is stylish AF and if it clicks with you, then you are in for a treat.
Hard disagree in terms of art-style.
Maybe better meshes and textures but the overall aesthetic has to go to Ghost of Tsushima, at least if you ask me.
What I´ve meant is that FW has better graphics judged purely on the ammount of effects, where GoT has stronger art style. I like how both of these games look like, but need to finish Zero dawn before I purchase Forbidden West, but playing GoT meanwhile and having a blast.
Yeah I agree the particles and effects in Horizon are super impressive.
For a long time, I didn't think anything would come close to Cyberpunk. I'm so glad to be proven wrong.
Ooof, I hated Cyberpunk. Bought it two months ago and played for 2h7m. Never again.
Oh? I thought it was done very well.
It seems studios don't have an issue finding programmers, artists, and such to make entire cities. Or in Tsushima's case, an entire open world island with complete folaige.
I thought CP2077 was very cluttered in gameplay. It was to the point where I struggled from getting from A to B without receiving 10 texts, phone calls, overlay on screen information updates (thus disabled those)... and the dialogue! Wow, far too much to enjoy a casual gameplay experience. I was answering so many questions, having to wait through 2 minutes of boring and over-the-top chatter to hit "F", wait another 2 minutes, hit "F", 3 minute cutscene, then start my assignment but get battered by texts and phone calls again 🤣. After a minutr I just stopped paying attention to the conversations and would strike "F" on said random response because the dialogue was overbearing and not captivating.
One word: tedious.
Did the game look good? Not too bad. I wasn't that impressed though. I was running 1440P Psycho settings with DLSS and had decent frames, but the visuals weren't all that impressive to me.
Gameplay was unfortunately burdensome. Everyone has different tastes, and if people enjoyed it, that's all that matters.
Played it when it first came out on PlayStation. It is an amazing first play experience. One of my favorite gaming experiences ever. Hope you enjoy half as much as I did.
Game is a 20/10
Incredible game
Does anybody else feel like it's slightly easier on PC than it was on PS4? The timings feel a touch looser, and it seems easier to pull off parrys etc.
Probably because your fps is at much higher(at least double, depending on specs ofc) than on console
Ah, that makes sense. Was probably running at 30 on PS4. I'm usually sitting around 100 now.
I’ve heard nightmare mode or whatever it’s called is fun.
Lethal mode is so fun , 1 wrong move you will die , but this also applies to enemies , 1 good attack connect they are dead.
Wayyyyyy easier. Higher framerates and lower latency. I had to lower it to easy to beat the duel at the drowned marsh on PS4. Beat him first go on PC yesterday.
Haven't played it on any console, but I can tell you I keep on dying a ton and that's despite playing on max details and with some 80 fps.
Sure, I've put combat to lethal as it simply feels realistic that way, but I can't really call this game easy.
ITS ON PC NOW?!?!
Fuck yes! It's amazing!
Yes!
I played that masterpiece on PS4 and PS5 when it came out. I'm so happy that now all can enjoy this Game - definitely will buy it again when it gets a bit of a discount. Can't wait for a smooth 120fps ultra wide experience.
Great art style, gorgeous
But personally I liked the look of Horizon Forbidden West more because it is better looking on a technical graphical level.
Especially coming from Burning Shores, which is a step up from the base game.
Compared to that, GoT feels technically older, with much less detail in the close range.
One thing it does well is mid and long range, that accompanied by good art direction makes it very beautiful at times.
Tbh, I haven't played GOT yet but sometimes the ground texture can look like a mobile game, most of the times it's stunning but there's something about shiny plasticy looking leaves and grass having zero shadows at certain points
Yeah, I've seen some low quality textures on the ground that stand out... It's not interfering with my enjoyment of the game, just a technical aspect that reminds the game's roots.
Yep more detailed. Both games have incredible color pallettes that make them stand out.
Forbidden West surely has better graphics when we talk about technical aspect. No doubt about that.
Still, Ghost of Tsushima has that specific art style going on and if you like it, you no longer care about polygon count or specific graphic effects. You are simply enjoying the overal presentation or not. Oh I do believe there will be some PC players criticizing the game for not having ray traycing and such. Those poor people are missing the forest for the trees though and it is their loss overall.
I like to think devs made GoT to look like this to keep it in harmony with other aspects of the game like haiku composing, flute playing and meditating in the hot springs. Less is sometimes more.
Oh yes 100%. I love the beauty of Ghost Of Tsushima. I think the people over at Sucker Punch did a great job. I like that because it isnt pushing tech boundaries I can get good performance on my RX 6600 while still having a game that is gorgeous to look at!
I am loving the game so far
Oh yes, we need more such good looking games running on normal PCs for sure! I think that Forbidden West is also surprisingly well running despite looking so good.
Plays and looks amazing on steam deck too what a time to be alive
How much fps are we talking? Curious I so want to buy it for SD only.
Can get up to 40 but more stable and better lookin at 30
Okay thank you!
Something about this screenshot doesn't feel right. Too plasticy, HDRish than the game actually is. Perhaps some game settings or maybe this particular lighting.
It's because it's not a screenshot. The dude clearly has a pc, but he can't take a screenshot?
Might have been taken with the phone instead of going to photo mode or pressing F12 for Steam games. Luckily ingame graphics looks a lot better than in that picture.
You can pause this game at any time and it's screenshot worthy. The amount of taken in GoT's presentation is just out of this world, both functionally and aesthetically.
I waited years for this game to come out on pc, after playing for the first time I can honestly say I’m hooked! Absolutely astonishing
This game is the best thing I have played since rdr2. The performance is also top notch- I’m getting 115-120 fps constant with a 4060ti and a last gen 5800x 32gb ddr4 ram.
Every setting is maxed. 1080p but with frame generation. All hail frame generation.
Glad you're enjoying the beauty... My 1050Ti doesn't let me lol
This is ultra realistic
I'm so glad I avoided ever watching anything about it, to the best of my ability at least all those years. It's easily a 10/10 for me.
Yeah but that psn thing
You can literraly walk trough bamboo trees and cant cut them down.
Wish I could play it.
Wow.. it's unavailable in my region. Great Fng job Sony.
Breathtaking visuals. The combat system is the cherry on top of this sunday.
Take a screenshot you absolute ape
Is this game gorgeous because of high color saturation?
I´d say it is beautiful because of its art style. And yes, things like those rich orange leaves flying on the wind, sakura trees, that white "grass" you can hide in...all of these things contribute to the game´s beauty.
The game is gorgeous despite not having technically the best graphics on the market.
Fuck Sony.
Too bad because it lock behind PSN
It's not though. Only the multiplayer requires it. Single player does not.
It's not available In my country...
See now, that's important context to have in the comment friend
Countries without psn access don't have access to the game as well
Yes, that's what my last comment was acknowledging... 🙄🤦
They literally location banned like half the world.
Location banned? No, they're just not selling the game in those countries. The people that didn't refund helldivers in those countries are still able to play the game. It's not a location ban. It's a Sony needs to pull their heads out of their ass on making PSN a requirement on PC thing.
Sail high seas. Nobody cares
I want to play it but because of SONY
Just pirate it lol
Yeah lmao but my pc is soo shit it can't run it
I recently got the game and I haven't played it but what are you're graphic settings? Is it modded or vanilla?
No mods, just everything cranked
I pirated mine to help small indie dev sony
Yeah. What are yall using for hdr and brightness settings? It gets way too dark in the corners of houses and stuff at night.
isss itttt freee anddddd wereeee tooo downloadddd
Can’t justify the $80cdn cost
It's just an Assassin's Creed clone tbh. Nothing special.
Me when literally any open world game has a sneak or assassination mechanic. Totally.
Don't forget, you can also climb stuff!!! Total clone.
I just wish the game was more than pretty
Did we not play the same game?
They didn't play it. Guarantee they saw there's some trivial controversy surrounding it and didn't bother looking into what it is and brain rot has sunk in so they think it's because it's a bad game.
I love the combat, about 10hrs in & not repetitive to me yet
Combat is so fun especially when you get more stances and can switch on the fly to just wreck house and make them run for the hills.
Great story, great characters, really good combat. Fun exploration. Idk what else you can ask for.
I hear you. I had to have multiple week+ breaks to finish it on PS5. Once the nice graphics wore off, I realised how shallow and ubi-esque it was. Didn't hate it though. Solid 6/10.
Your down votes don't invalidate my opinion btw so carry on :)
Looks like the average 2012 game, ngl
You're the type of person who downloads Reshade files labeled "4k ultra mods" aren't you?
bruh... You want new Crysis?
Do people still not know how to take screenshots?
