The people have spoken! Here's the list of T17 farming strategies submitted on this thread . Submissions described these as viable as of 5/17/2024, after the balance patches prior to that date.

If you want to submit additional strategies, please leave a new comment below and include the following info; I'll add it.

  1. Strat name
  2. Brief description, including list of scarabs and any required map rolls, as well as any notes if it's especially hard.
  3. If there's a video or guide, provide the link.
  4. B2B or no?
  5. MF, or also good without MF?
  6. Low/med/high investment
  7. Easy/med/hard to roll maps

Without further ado, here's the list, broken into B2B, non-B2B, and group strats (the last is sparse).

Solo Back to Basics
  • Barrel and Go (multiple versions)

Description: Fortress map (optional), roll for barrels and 100%+ of currency, or scarabs, or split between the two. Three mysterious scarabs and a hunted traitors. No MF is necessary because so much of your profit comes from barrels which are unaffected by player quant.

Investment: Low

Rolling: Medium

  • 8-Mod Map Farming

Description: B2B T7 full clear with cheap scarabs and easy rolling for 100%+ more maps. Sell maps on TFT in bulk. 2x Cartography Scarab, 1x map duplication, 1x corrupted 8-mod.

Investment: Low

Rolling: Easy

Submitter: u/Bissellmop (link ) and u/Xyarlo (link )

  • Boss Rush Ziggurat (See also - non-B2B version below)

Description: B2B, no need for MF. Roll for mods your build can do, bonus if you have high scarabs/currency. Helps a lot to have high DPS. Estimated ~20-40 div/hr. If you struggle with the B2B version, do non-B2B boss rushing, below. Scarabs optional.

Investment: Low

Rolling: Easy. Anything your build can run comfortably.

  • Bloodlines Scarab Farm

Description: Scarab farming with bloodlines. Roll maps for 150+ quant, 50+ pack size, 100%+ scarabs, and whatever mods you can run. Run with [editor's note: I'm guessing here] bloodlines, glittering, monstrous lineage, and hunted traitors. [Editor's note: feedback from u/Empire_ on scarabs: I would not run hunted traitors in it. Hunted traitors are not natural monsters and wont drop as much as adversaries. I am not sure that monstrous lineage actually works. Didnt see much difference with or without it.]

Alternate Description from u/Empire_: Bloodlines + glittering + 2x Adversary. B2B atlas with max scarab. run on 150% scarab + 50% packsize and above. It is important that you don't replace natural monsters, as they will drop more scarabs than any of the allflame ones.

Cheaper version from u/Empire_: Cheap scarab farm is same atlas, with 2x adversary + Hunted traitors + glittering. You do this on any +130% roll. (swap anything you like for glittering if dont have enough of those scarabs, if you are just starting out in t17 and play SC, use the portal scarab so that you clear even with deaths)

SSF version from u/Empire_: if you lack maps but have the scarabs, you only roll for 150/50 and do bloodlines, if you have maps but not the chaos to roll, you do cheap scarab and the few good rolls you get you save for bloodlines. With good enough maps I found that I could sustain bloodline scarabs 80% of the time.

Investment: Medium. ~2 div/map.

Rolling: Medium. Roll for 150 quant, 50 pack size, 100+ scarabs.

  • Meatsack Scarab Farm

Link: Fubgun version / Snoobae version

Description: Convert all Normal and High frequency monsters to Meatsacks. Spawn lots more meatsacks and give them more modifiers (and therefore more drops) with 2x adversaries and 2x nemesis scarabs. If needed, swap out a scarab for Stability (more portals). MF is a plus but not required. This needs an extremely strong build. Roll for +2 rares and 100% more scarabs.

Investment: High

Rolling: Hard

Solo NO Back to Basics
  • Unending Deli + Beyond

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7GSb20HUD8

Description: Deli + beyond farming for cluster jewels. Maps can be whatever, doesn't matter. Optional: roll your clusters for added profit.

Investment: Low

Rolling: Easy. Roll for pack size and quant, avoiding mods that brick your build.

Submitter: u/Dizturb3dwun (link )

  • Boss Rush Ziggurat (See also - B2B version above)

Description: No B2B, no MF, no map mod effect scaling; just easy rolling of maps to avoid bricking your build and run to the Ziggurat boss to kill for fragments. Estimated ~20 div/hr. Easier version of B2B boss rush above; fewer drops on your way to the boss.

Investment: Low

Rolling: Easy. Anything your build can run comfortably.

  • Imbued Harvest

Link: https://youtu.be/fId_Wfe3Xws?feature=shared

Description: Horned scarab of awakening, life force dupe scarab, influence scarab of hordes, monstrous lineage scarab. Atlas - harvest nodes (but not sacred grove chance), crop rotation, all the explicit map mod nodes, blue altars. No B2B (you need sacred grove) and no MF (gear quant doesn't affect life force drops). Basically - clear the map, getting as many quantity altars as you can. Go to Grove and do crop rotation things, trying to maximize yellow crops. Remember you can click a plot once to see if the adjacent crop withers ; try to maximize yellow but also keep in mind you can often get 1 juiced purple or blue as well. It's a lot of RNG - number of plots, number of yellows, chance to not wither, and how many quant altars you get in the map. Sometimes you only get 3 crops and everything withers and you only get 1 juiced yellow. But the most yellow juice I've gotten from 1 map is 30,000. I don't know div/hr because I play slowly, but it's a fun strat and very easy to sell lifeforce in large quantities.

Investment: Low/Med.

Rolling: Easy/Medium. Roll for pack size and quant, avoiding mods that brick your build.

  • T17 Strongboxes

Description: Strongbox farm using scarabs of containment, re-open, glittering, and discernment. Consistent money from boss frags + scarabs, with profit from diviner box hits. Be sure to take all relevant strongbox nodes. Not B2B. No MF required.

Investment: Low/Med

Rolling: Easy. Go for high scarabs/currency or whatever feels good. Containment makes many mods easier to deal with (e.g. union of souls).

Submitter: u/Syra78 (link )

  • Wisps

Description: [NOTE: Sounds like not fully tested in T17] 3x wisp and 1x nemesis scarabs. Tested in T16 with 8-mod maps with delirium. Atlas: Full torment, full anarchy. Tested with 63% quant.

Investment: Low

Rolling: Easy/Med. Roll for quant, scarabs, currency, and whatever your build can run.

  • Ghosted Meatsacks (non-B2B)

Description: Use 2x reliquary, nemesis, and fourth scarab of your choice. Clera the map minus meatsacks without life regen. Bring meatsacks to cull range (10% or 20%), collect corpses until you have 3-4 ghosts, grab 2nd meatsack, rinse, repeat, until you're out of corpses on the map. Swap to MF character. Cull everything down and loot. Average 0.7 T0 uniques and ~11 T1s per map. Regen mobs are an issue; just kill them. Tree: basic MF / eternal torment / ghosted / explicit modifier effect / haunting. Plenty of free points to use for whatever you want (e.g. scarabs, or things to make map easier like shrines). Deli is an option if your build is super strong.

Investment: High (meatsack allflames are expensive)

Rolling: Medium-high depending on how picky you need to be with mods.

Group Strats
  1. Full investment divination with shaper touched + shaper all flames (cost around 40 div per map) - severely nerfed, to the point it feels like you dont make anything until you drop unreq love/apo/nimis full stack. Submitter: u/bruhwilson (link )
  2. Meatsack b2b nemesis stacking with 2x reliquary - also nerfed since was relying on shaper touched, used to be multiple t0 per map, now its none or 1 at most. Submitter: u/bruhwilson (link )
