Thank God I read this before sitting through the whole thing
Or you could just dab it with acetone.
Low tech solutions to low tech problems? Nah, gimme more LASERS!
Don’t you mean sharks with frickin’ lasers?
Yeah but the laser sound is so cool
Or not dump a dozen tubes of Krazy Glue in one spot.
From what ?
It's an AMD CPU. Who puts super glue on a fucking processor? Oh wait... fake Internet points...
Going by the state of it, I doubt it works anymore. At least it got one last use 🤷♀️
It turned into 🙂
Wondered if anyone else saw that!
Everyone that watched saw it
Fun fact, many brands of superglue release cyanide when heated above a certain temperature...
My favorite!! I love 3M so much, I drink their products every day.
Cyanoacrylates are a family of strong fast-acting adhesives with industrial, medical, and household uses. They are derived from ethyl cyanoacrylate
Super Glue Wiki...
And now you have a circular pit with a glue-shaped raised section in the middle of it.
Congrats.
This is so fucking ineffective. It removes the glue by removing an entire layer of the surrounding. The result is an uneven surface caused by the layer under the glue not being removed while the area surrounding the glue was.
Its stupid
I know it smell crazy in there
Actually, a nice almond like smell after the cyano-acrylate glue releases its cyanide!
You got cancer from the toxic fumes but you made a cool video. Congrats.
Sound like someone farting.
It’s not hard satisfying, it oddly hurts my eyes.
It sounds like when Godzilla is charging his breath
Does it legit sound like that???
It does. it's a bunch of little accoustic shockwaves that occur when the ablating material rapidly vaporises.
I'm pretty sure it's a guy farting or at least someone who's making farting noises.
No. Lasers don't make any noise in real life. There might be a quiet sound of the material burning, but otherwise all the sci-fi noises were added after the video was recorded.
I've never seen a laser "removal" video that didn't have sounds just like this. If it's faked, seems everyone's working really hard and consistently doing it the exact same way as all the other fakers.
I'm 90% sure what you're hearing is the stepper motor(s) that's moving the laser, not the laser itself.
I have seen plenty that don't have noises like this one, and all the ones I've seen with these noises sound basically the same as each other (even when the movements of the laser and the material it's hitting are different) and are reposts, not from the original accounts. The one above is like three levels deep of reposting, for example.
Lasers conclusively don't make a noise, and the motors on machines like this one are very quiet and don't sound like cheap sci-fi stock sound effects.
Can I use this to lap my CPU’s IHS to a mirror finish?!
I think this kills the CPU.
Laser abblation leaves very far from a mirror finish. It leaves a kind of powdery matte finish.
Do you not see the circular hole that it created?
Breath deeply in your success
Really not showing the end result or a clean up multiple pass to remove the burned circle, lammmeeeee
And now you have a circle whiter than the rest of
this is so scif fi
If you lean over the laser while it's cleaning to inhale those fumes you get a fun tingly feeling in your brain.
Aren’t you supposed to sniff the glue before it hardens?
A flamethrower would also work.
💨💨💨💨
Ah, it's a Laser gRave
must've smelled like shit
It’s a portal to another dimension
Where are all the fingerprints?
Me after taco bell
Bot. Report-spam-harmful bots.
Idk why but I imagine an alien farting when I hear that
That’s audio of me playing as a 5 year old.
Lasers absolutely have to be considered one of mankind’s greatest achievements.
whats oddly satisfying from a video that ends in the middle without even showing the end or finished results?
