I've moved from a different country to USA recently... I'm gonna take the GED test.. Can somebody please tell me the steps after GED to get a RN licence?? I feel really lost right now.

After you get your GED you will need to apply to a college then do the prerequisite classes for nursing school. You should also have to do some kind of prenursing exam- you’ll have to ask your school which one they require. Once you have those completed you can apply for the nursing program. Most nursing programs are competitive so you need to am for the highest grades possible in the classes that the college ranks you on for admission into the nursing program. After you get accepted you just have to complete the program then take your state RN exam. Good luck on your journey and welcome!

I believe the next steps would to look into a program you’re interested in. Once you’ve chosen a program, most nursing programs have similar pre requisites prior to applying so i would work on those. Community colleges are a good start to look into for prerequisites and affordable nursing programs.
