When submitting an appeal, neighbors should be allowed to vote to keep or remove the post anonymously.
If you agree with this concept, email [email protected] and suggest this as an option.

Leads abuse their power.
Yup, some do. That's why the votes need to be even more public, so even more people can see, and report bias in voting.
Edit: they blocked me for pointing out the flaw in their plan... Who was it that was supposedly abusive and biased again?
The leads think they’re just too cool and important. 😂😂😂😂😂
We leave one of the biggest "humblebragger" leads around. Posts dribble and works in how much volunteers here, there and everywhere with various organizations.
I think he's a ND tool
But what happens if the majority audience happen to be white supremacists, or religious nuts, or backyard breeders demanding to sell their puppies? Majority rule for comments moderation works nicely…until it doesn’t. Lol!
Ok, sarcastically," if that's your neighborhood, possibly consider moving. I personally have a strong positive following, and when I have a bad seed in the mix. I mute, block, and move on. A great majority of the bad seeds are the leads. There's many Karen's, many that complain about everything, or always trying to push local community issues down your throat.
So you want the bad seeds to be able to hide their bad behavior? But still do it?
Should I just assume you've both also been blocked?
“Trying to push community issues down your throat” ❓ Sounds kinky. Also, you do understand the intended purpose of NextDoor, right?
I don't agree with that. There's too much potential for abuse and brigading.
You seem to think that leads have more power than they do. One lead cannot remove a post. It takes a net 3 to remove anything.
They all just go along with each other.
It's obvious you're a lead. Why else would you be so uptight about the issue.
And it's obvious you're salty because you don't want to follow the guidelines. It's super easy to not get reported
OP, you can read straight through your redaction. Please redact properly.
This has been removed for breaking the sub rule of "No personal identifying information" (Rule 1). You are encouraged to redact any identifying information and repost.
That is not true. I've already confirmed that with support.
I wouldn’t call those numbers a landslide victory for any decisions
Nope.
WTH are you posting that’s getting taken down? It’s a crappy free website to post your lost cat. Not Facebook
Sadly, and in hindsight, some were made leads and shouldn't have been. ahem
I agree. They disabled my ability to request an appeal. Therefore, I emailed [email protected] directly. I always screenshot the post I'm disputing and the flagged post denying me the ability to appeal.
You have too much time on your hands. The only reason I look at Nextdoor is so I can post things here, making fun of my crazy neighbors
I wish I had had enough time. In these past 2 weeks I build my website, created a YouTube channel, created a 7-minute video, and am working on the next video for the SMS platform i just signed up for, collaborated with someone in Houston and Los Feliz to help me out, working on a logo for a bamboo project that includes working with the United Nations "Patches of Bamboo " having to build the site, having to go back and forth with Google my Business because I haven't been able to get my business profile approved, wrote 3 articles and reached out to AARP to see if they will pick one of them up on reverse mortgages, but that will take around 6 months for consideration, and this doesn't include implementing a blog and chat into my existing website. That's 10 days of work, and doesn't include everything else I do.
* At least I'm showing some progress on Google my business
By the way, you and I are done with this conversation. It's a waste of my time.
That's just asking for abuse.
