I don't think they were able to properly tell this story in a feature-length documentary. There was so much more they could have covered.
We only see a snippet of Anna's trial.
It's stated that all of their messages from the keyboard were saved, but we barely see them.
They barely scratch the surface of how facilitated communication has led to a number of sexual assaults. This was 100%! relevant to the story and would have provided more background.
They gave that rapist Anna so much airtime, but failed to ask her any hard-hitting questions. Like what did she think about the double-blind experiment?
A series would have done this story more justice, IMO.
Yes, you're right. And I really want to see the details of the appeal trial as well. This was the most disturbing documentary that I've ever seen. Usually netflix draws out their little documentaries over 3 episodes & I usually think that should have just been a movie but this case is the opposite.
