Front office can’t do shit, they have dug their hole and now are capped, have no assets they can move, and have roster getting worse every year. I can’t get mad at the FO for doing nothing this summer, but I can’t get mad at the moves they’ve made that have crippled them to this point.
I actually still wanna see him win one before he decides to retire and hang them up.
Good basketball player with thick cock
Sixers fans never got over their crush
Proof?

He can really stretch the floor.
and he knows how to brew a damn good cup of joe
His time has came. And went.
Yes, he can still make some noise. Yes, he would be a welcome addition for most any team. But the rest of the east has gotten much, much better and he alone can't carry the Heat past those teams.
Assuming the Heat sneak in again in the 7th/8th spot, Jimmy will have to run an absolute gauntlet of teams to get to the finals, which, given other team injuries and chemistry issues----he could do. But you are counting on luck at that point, and the teams out west are good as well.
i love watching his highlights in big moments, would hate to have him on my team
Kings would be blessed to have Butler lol
kings need bodies to play. they lost their 6th man for 20 games and dropped to 9th place.
plus fox is a clutch dude
Jack of all trades except staying healthy
He’s pulled some Lebronto-esque performances to drag my team to ECFs at the minimum but only problem is he ain’t fucking Lebron.
He needs another all star level talent next to him but instead we have a 6th man and a good bench player in Herro and Duncan making a combined 35% of the cap….
Nobody is LeBron and that’s coming from someone who can’t stand him. Butler is a different breed. LeBron has an all-around game. Butler, when focused, is a great 2-way player who gets the job done offensively and defensively.
He’s a franchise level player in terms of ability but not so much in terms of availability.
Loved him since this
Foul merchant
Will retire without a ring and will end up a footnote in this era.
Excellent player, tremendous last couple of playoff runs, and probably not good enough to be the number 1 on a champion (at least anymore).
He’s a tier beneath wherever you think he is. Barely shows up in the regular season, then goes full throttle in the playoffs but gases out due to the load of work needed due to being a low seed. Over performed career wise as someone who is really a second option
Foul merchant, fake tough guy, overrated
You’re not a Celtics fan, are you? If so, it would make sense as to the hatred and animosity towards Butler since he took them down last year in the playoffs along with the rest of the Heat. lol
Why would Celtics fans hate Jimmy ? It’s not like he won anything
Basketball terrorist, foul merchant, and I hope he retires ringless
Take away the very generous whistle he gets and what are you left with?
A 2 way player that raises his game in the playoffs, that led his team to 2 finals in 4 years. The only player to do so this decade. Also did it as massive underdogs. I'm not even a heat fan, but what Butler/ heat have done this decade is phenomenal given their roster.
Also 2-1 against your Celtics in conference finals with a weaker supporting cast lol
Dawg
Borderline allstar player in the reg. szn that can turn into a top 10 player in the playoffs.
He’s honestly such a cool dude and easy to root for
He is! I actually became a fan of his when he went nuclear in the playoffs last year and took down the Celtics (who I hate with a passion lol) in 7 games. He has his Kobe Bryant-esque moments and they’re fun to watch (and no I don’t think he’s better than or on the same level as Kobe was just because I think he’s had some Kobe-esque moments in the past but he’s a pretty good player lol).
I’m happy you got to enjoy the NBA season this year.
He’s like a C- version of Kawhi including the lack of availability
Heat FO have let him and Spo down.
It's not talked about enough how much the heat front office has failed him. He got to two NBA finals and they got him no help. It's insane that he got no help after the 2020 finals run. They are lucky that their scouting department is the best in the league.
Overrated
2nd best #2 guy in the league behind Jaylen Brown
Apparently being available isn’t important as a number 2
He’s the GOAT for recruiting Donovan Mitchell to Miami
I was hoping Clippers might go for him to replace PG, but I guess that's just going in my alternate history novel where Sega Dreamcast and Google Plus succeeded.
Could beat my CYO team in a 5 on 1 game.
Having nightmares about his pic with Cam Brink
I love him. I don’t think Miami has the firepower anymore to win with him. Him Bam JJ and Herro are good but they need more weapons than Duncan and Caleb. Especially in the frontcourt
Good player, he can be the #2 on a championship team. Miami hasn't put a championship roster around him and that's on them.
Jimmy isn't a shooter but, JIMMY G BUCKETS
The braintrust Chicago didn't want to build around him like idiots and look at what he did after? 2 finals runs multiple playoff wins. Bounced us out of playoff contention.
The thing is I don’t know if Miami has enough money to entice 1-2 good players to pair alongside of him. They were supposed to be in the running to acquire Lillard from Portland and we all know how that turned out.
Could have won a chip so good enough but next couple years prob not
He’s their franchise guy simply because they don’t have another option right now.
But I’m skeptical you’re going to win a ring with 35 year old Butler as your #1.
Biggest what if for Philly if they chose him over Harris. I’ve always liked his game and am somewhat mad that Miami couldn’t figure out a way to pair another superstar with him.
Even after the finals run they did squat to upgrade the roster, figuring he could pull off miracle runs
Blame Riley. He’s done nothing to help Jimmy. Maybe that’s why he doesn’t care about the regular season
The coffee thing is annoying.
Awesome player but Miami has always been one costar short of winning it all
As far as franchise players go, he's definitely middle of the pack in terms of skills, but he does have a unique uplifting effect on the locker room and the roster in general.
As far as getting a championship next season:
I'd rate him higher than Trae, Randle, Jalen Green.
I'd rate him lower than Giannis, Steph, Tatum or Jokic.
So maybe around the Kyrie level?
Kyrie is more skilled but Butler's influence more than makes up for it.
He’s this generation’s Reggie Miller. Legendary playoff riser with insane aura but nothing to show for it.
my honest assessment of Jimmy Buckets is that he's been miscast for most of his career and he's a bright lights merchant like Jamal Murray that needs a Joker to be his floor raiser.
He needs to be the “experienced vet” on a championship team not “the guy”.
Like SAC would be a good team for him.
He’s washed and Miami will have a tough time making the play ins.

Come on. He’s a better all-around scorer and player than Miller was.
Jimmy is not our franchise player. It has always been Bam.
However, because Bam wasn't in his prime yet, the Heat tries to build around Jimmy to maximize (look I understand that's a stretch) the backend of his prime.
He got us to 2 finals in 4 years, 3/4 ECF and we have done nothing to build around him. The Knicks got all of Brunson’s buddies to play with him and he just had back to back 2nd round exits, Brunson gets more respect in NY for doing that than Jimmy for making the finals twice, including the legendary 2023 run.
He will probably leave next year to a contending team to try and win a title still, I think his game will age fine since he doesn’t rely on athleticism and his 3pt shooting has gotten better after cratering when he got to Miami. If he can stay a consistent 3pt shooter at a 40% clip, he can play a Middleton role on a contender when he’s 36 and help a team win a championship
Jimmy Butler is a great player who steps up in big moments especially in the playoffs. Sadly the team around him just isn’t good enough to win a championship.
Jimmy Butler turns 35 this year, no I don’t see them winning with him as ‘the guy’ personally
