"Dress Code" for a wedding.

If you aren't having your wedding/reception at venue with a dress code you are a bridezilla. Stop it.

I'm an officiant, and this trend to control every part of a one day event is unhealthy mentally.

I ask the couple if they want me to wear a robe for the ceremony or a black dress suit.

One bride, at our initial meeting, a year before the event, told me she wanted me to wear pink. I stated I would not wear pink. She stated EVERYONE at the wedding would be REQUIRED to wear pink. If they didn't wear pink, they couldn't come.

I suggested they find another officiant. .
