All fear is probably stored in the beating he's gonna receive when he gets home. Even got a taste of it before the mother could activate her concerned emotions
Somewhere in a PDF, there are links to videos of somebody wedging themselves into every nook and cranny and rules for every one of them. Now we have plastic barriers that do nothing but block 6 inch spaces by the ceiling.
Your mom would have paid attention to you & slapped you upside the head BEFORE you got stuck(ok, this would’ve been my mom, but I’m guessing yours is just as good).
Have you ever met a kid? They do dumb shit. What's even dumber is that hazard that the kid got stuck in. Whatever shitty country they are needs to update their building codes.
A lot of countries have great building codes and regulations in place, actually. Enforcement of those codes is an issue unfortunately due to corruption and a culture of dismissing safety precautions. Cutting costs trumps human lives.
Why is it always built like that anyways? As a German I have to say that’s an irresponsible and dangerous safety hazard that shouldn’t be there in the first place 😇🫡
Every time you wonder why where are warning signs all over something... it's cause of people like this. The designer was probably like "Hey, a 6 inch gap is plenty wide. No one will ever get their hand stuck in this!" Then this kid comes along and sticks his whole head in there.
Now there's gonna be a law saying there must be a 12 inch gap.
Man, there’s not a year that goes by — not a year — that I don’t read about some escalator accident involving some bastard kid that could’ve been easily avoided had some parent — I don’t care which one — but some parent, conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator!
I once was in Hawaii and an Asian child got his foot stuck in an escalator. It probably was their vacation and it looked really bad. I start to wonder if that’s an Asian thing 😂.
I would like to blame the child for being so careless but... honestly I too have committed similar crimes. Sometimes you get so distracted that you end up doing that kind of thing. No shame in admitting it.
Somebody needs to teach that kid to fear and respect the escalator!
