I'm trying to figure out, if I top deck Turn//Burn, with Kefnet out, I reveal and get a copy to cast. Now if I want to cast both parts using the fuse ability, what happens?
- Do both sides get discounted, so I'm paying it for effectively one blue and one red? -Does only Turn get discounted because it occurs first? -Do I get to choose which side is discounted?
Copies are created in the same zone as the original, so you will be casting the copy from your hand and so can fuse it. The cost of a fused spell is both sides combined, so
2UR3UR in this case, which is reduced to justUR1URIf you were to cast [[Toil//Trouble]], which is 2R and 2B, the combined cost would be 4RB and be reduced to 2RB, it wouldn't reduce both sides but just the total of them.
